I returned to playing mapleroyals after 2 years without playing and found 400m in my account. i have a lvl 47 cleric, but i don't know if that would be the best class to start now. what do you recommend? remain in the cleric? or create another class?
Welcome back! To check some of the custom class balances, you can take a look at Update 59 patch notes to get an idea of the bigger changes (Paladins also received Total Crash which allows them to nullify weapon cancel, very important!) You can also check out the Krex Tests to see each classes optimal single target damage in a perfect situation (keeping in mind it is not 100% accurate and only representative of single target DPS in a perfect world.) The guides section is the place to go for more in depth analysis on a specific class. As far as what to play, I would continue your Cleric to Bishop so you can farm, sell leech, and boss for funds to start an attacker.
You could quckly review on all clases guides here on forum bcs the fist lines of every class usually are "pros/cons"...so you choose whatever you feel like to... A bishop is one of the best options so you can still play that cleric you have Personally i think that most classes are good enough..beside most ppl will tell you that nls are the best...and they probably are, theres other classes who have benefits than nls dont(like bms)...i just would advice to think twice between choosing 4 classes that are just good to a certain niche of players but, overall..can be considered as the worse...wich are dark knights and marksman(bcs they fullfill the exact same role as hero and bowmaster, just worse or at a way higher cost) and AMs...wich are really good at an especific role in game, but just not usefull at all at bossing(wich usually tend to be the main concern of mid-endbgame state) Beside those 4...all the others are quite good jobs
Cleric is indeed one of the classes that makes the best money, good for a first char But when u don't like it just play another char cause u can sell ap resets or test your luck with gachapon!
hey man, welcome back! I hope you kept voting on the site during your months off lol. I'd suggest to brush off any concerns about "what is good", "what is useless", "what is meta", and just go for the class you like. naturally, there's something among the lines of some classes being more autosufficient, stronger, faster, slower or more fun than others, which of course, is good to be aware of, but not to limit yourself with how you want to play this game. you can watch some oldschool youtube videos to inspire you up with the class you think is the most fun for you, and just go for it without worrying too much about it. main differences are in the nearly endgame, and there's still a lot of time until then. maplestory is about investing time into it. enjoy doing so!
NL is strongest class overall, but best class? no definitely not. : hi I'm level xxx NL I want to join your boss party leader: range? apple? got any mules?
