Hi! I've just returned to MapleRoyals and was looking to get some advice! I am debating whether or not I should just start over or continue working on my lvl 52 dexless sin. Wondering if anyone could give me some suggestions on a new character or reasons to continue with my sin. I also would appreciate any guide suggestions for character types, mesos, or just the game in general as I have forgotten a lot and to be honest never really learned all the ropes when I did play years ago. Appreciate it and looking forward to playing again
Hello I guess you can just continue playing. Pyrope weapons are cheap now so thats a plus for your dexless sin.
Hi! Thanks for the response! I am debating whether I do that or make a Bishop, which looks like a good class to get some money to then build other classes. Is that worth doing?
Welcome back! I think you should put your sin on hold and just make a mage first to earn money as unfortunately, NLs are expensive to fund even if you just want to be a 'decent' NL. Selling leech seems to be the foolproof way of getting mesos so I'd probably start there if I were you. However, you can also opt for low cost attacker classes such as warriors and buccaneer but you'd have a little bit of difficulty in obtaining gear for them without funds. Do let me know if you start playing a mage as I may be able to find some things in my storage that you may have. They're not worth much but I hope they'll come in handy.
Hi! Thanks its been fun to be back I actually did start a mage yesterday! I have been following a Bishop guide, but have found that I am not really sure what to wear... do you have any suggestions?
Just try to stay at 4 base luk and use maple weapons - I might have a few in my storage characters that I could pass to you but I'm currently at work and won't be back till at least 13h later. What level is your mage? Maybe you can add me on my characters and I can help you get a zak helm when you get to 50 so it gets a lot easier for you to train and level. For now, maybe just try to join party quests like kerning, ludi, CPQ etc for fast exp as opposed to training on your own. Also, you will need to do some hp washing with your mage (especially if it's a bishop) because there are some end-game bosses that hit hard. Although that may be the case, I have an unwashed bishop at 195 and it is only at 2.8k hp - just enough to survive horntail, which is what most people go for anyway since it's really good income for bishops, albeit less stable income compared to selling leech.
Ooo future bishop ^^ I have a few characters but you can add me on Velina as I tend to be on that character nowadays.
So i see you started already on your road to bishop! Nice mate! It's one of the coolest jobs in the game! But feel free to play your sin too! Just have a lot of fun, all that counts in the end!
