As title stated, regarding forging those weapons @ npc Fiona. Is it possible to implement stats variations? -5/+5 stats or even a godly system. I believe it would be more worthwhile to craft for people who are interested in them. As well as open up more options for player’s build as well. E.g People that play Hero/Paladin may choose to make a perf clean night raven wings instead of searching and buying an expensive ST considering how rare is a perf clean ST.
Ive turned in hundreds maybe thousands of windraider and stormbreaker badges and ive not gotten any of the ninja gear. Hell ivr barely gotten anything besides meso. Maybe we could start with removing the 24h cd or buffing the frequency you get the ninja items, cause right now a bunch of really cool items are gated behind something that i dont think ever had a turn in cooldown or atleast was eventually removed and had way more people involved in turning in badges. Its not as popular here, so somethings gotta give. It takes too long for the obtaining of an entire set of really cool weapons to make it worth peoples time investment. We could have another market for the pieces required for crafting and weapons that are good alternatives to the stale weapon meta we have had for 6+ years now
About the badge trade in,i agree as well.Considering how hard it is to hunt for badges and thats not it, you have to pray and gamble hope to get what you wanted from trading in.Yes i understand it is still “possible” to get them, but it was a pretty hectic process. I dont really get it why are we having them “differently” compare to the old classic official maple (GMS,MapleSEA). Thou, i do understand the MoN nerf is to keep balance between MoN and HT necklace, which is a good change. I hope this gets devs attention.
Bump from me. I almost turned in a ton of badges but I'll save them til some raven weapons (or more~) are added to the rewards. They should also have an alert for special items from cwk like they do from gach so people know these unique items are now in the server. Give it different colored text too to make it pop, maybe purple text with orange background, sounds cwk-y
They haven't done anything about this in 3 years so I doubt they will do now. CW crafting is on an entirely different level of difficulty than all other craft NPC's in NLC. Not only getting sets of badges is a nightmare due to their low drop rate but the rewards are randomized too, especially taos if you are aiming for Furies. As for raven weapons, even if you do get the one you want and decide to enhance it at Fiona, stats can be better or worse just like chaos scroll. It's an enormous waste of time and nerves and there is absolutely no point in doing this just for a lv80 weapon. As for furies itself you can get taos from CWKPQ now. In conclusion, if they implemented godly system on this exchange quest + giving you a choice to choose your weapon and maybe slightly buffing badges drop rate, this would provide incentive to grind for this, otherwise nope it's a huge waste of time and you shouldn't do this unless you're a cosmetic hunter I suppose.
Bump! As mentioned by others, I personally think the weapons crafted from Fiona has a lot of potential for improvements too. Considering the tedious nature of collecting the items, the long chain of quests and the difficulty to farm the items efficiently. Hence, I think is fair to call for adjustments to be made for these weapons, in order to make them more viable and appealing to players to collect. This allows for more weapons variety being added to the server without needing additional new content. Especially for most classes, the current of endgame weapons from comes from commonly leeching locations (Nisrock, Red Craven, Concerto) and Gachapon (Dragon Purple Sleeves, Dragon Shiner Bow) Furthermore, this pathway can also push for greater playstyle diversity, as the NPC is capable of crafting weapons for more niche classes or builds. Like polearm for Dark Knights, 1 handed sword for Heroes/Paladin, staff for Magicians, and more weapons for the Crossbowman class. Lastly, I think these weapons could be used as another opportunity for players to gain additional HP. This could be helpful to bring more leverage to more unpopular classes and range classes who seek additional ways to gain HP while playing. like for the crossbowman, we should consider adding HP stats for crafted crossbows, in order to encourage more players to play them as an alternate to the common Bowmasters pathway.
Great Ideas, please make these more appealing. Also, badges (at least for me) drop very rarely, maybe we could have their drop rate increased - so it would be really worth to farm them to be able to craft things? Or maybe, if you enhance the weapons or the system itself, dont increase drop rate so it doesnt get OP ^^
Hmm, in today patch, it seems like some weapons were left untouch such as Wings and Claws, are the devs still planning ahead to make changes in near future?
In order to better assist and facilitate discussion for both the staff members and community on what types of changes we would like to see in the future, I have decided to release my Google Document of the Crimsonwood Keep Weapons to all. Please feel free to edit and add your own proposed stats and requirements to the weapon charts. I think this will be more helpful in the long run and the best way forward. As both staff and the community can easily use the charts to communicate and visualise specific changes they want instead of vague inputs and hope the staff will get it. Edit: <Link to chart> To avoid bad-faith actors from messing around with my document, I locked it, hence you need to download the document as your own or make a copy if you have a Google account.
Moving this to Accepted for now. If anyone wants to continue discussing the specifics of the CWK Exchange rewards, kindly make a new thread. Thanks for your understanding.
