This isn't entirely true since we are just presenting alternatives to getting more HP, doesn't mean it will make things easier (or cheaper) than it already is.

Think of it this way -- since you don't have the funding to HP wash / buy int equips / do double washing, then you've another way which is to spend more time in return for some HP.

This was exactly what i was looking for.
I agree that this game should be more enjoyable and new-players-friendly but old players (the ones, who actually carried this game for all this time) spent tons of hours for washing and I guess it would make most of them very unhappy if they dont get anything in return.

So please try to make things fair for both sides ^^
I cant really think of any solution because I dont know yet how u are actually gonna manage it, except reducing the actual hp by the amount that u want to add and return mesos or reward to those people who sacrifice this hp with something useful (medal,belt..)

 

Changes made to the game are not retroactive. So we cannot make any refund per se for those who will be missing out in this.

Personally I feel those who have been able to achieve high HP because they're well funded should be proud of the ways they did it. This is just another little push (ontop of our original HP quests) for those who really can't afford it or don't have the time to invest so much in the game (maybe they can only play an hour or so a day for whatever reasons), yet want to be able to enjoy the contents that require higher HP. If we always concern ourselves with the "but what about those that will be affected negatively?" mentality, then it's very hard for us to roll out new changes that will benefit the overall gameplay. This is a iterative process and something we can only do through feedback, trial and error.

 

So does it means no Halloween Event this year or im wrong? if so im gonna be really sad, because this is my favorite Event from all..

 

I see your point. Joining this server, starting an attacker class, lvl up to 70 then meet other people who tell you that if u didnt wash u better start another character may not be funny, but on the other hand it is what we all went through. We struggled too, people who washed to 30k on classes like BM or NL spent 20+ B which requires a lot of effort and amount of time.

The mentality u are talking about here is definitely wrong, but yeah I may be proud that i washed that way but still, it will feel for me at least and I guess for other people as well like wasted time.
I guess there must be some way to make new players and also old players benefit from it,but I admit that I personally dont have any suggestion.

 

Why should people, that exploit a bug, have the right to expect any return for future game changes, that might render their bug abuse unnecessary? Why should anyone have the right to expect anything in return in a constantly updating online game?

Just do the changes, you want to. That "buhuu but the I wasted money" mentality is complete BS. IF you wasted money by then, well, yes, you just played the game wrong and now you suffer for it. That's it, you just made a bad move. Nothing else, just accept it. That's how it goes in online games.

But maybe it is not wasted? What is "wasted" to you?
If you just swallow this stupid "You have to wash to 30k HP" meta in the first place, and then proceed to play this way, cause someone said, you have to, but it is not fun and useless to you anyway - then just DO NOT DO IT!
But please stop to danger server health to promote your personal advantages.

 

I think Halloween events will still come, just that we're adding a new event before that! So stay tuned!

Unfortunately that's how things are. I myself wasted billions washing just so I can participate comfortably in HT. But as seasoned players, we should always try to put forward suggestion that can improve the game in the longrun. Let's just say we joined the game at the wrong timing and suffered in the process (but it was worth it isn't it? I hope!), but that doesn't mean we can't do right for future new players (and those struggling to enjoy end-game contents) who choose to join us.

At the moment though, I'm not sure if there are any plans to "reimburse" players who won't be benefiting from the new ways to obtain HP. Even if there's any, I'm gonna keep it a secret for now.

 

I don't think people can get 30k HP just by doing the alternative ways to gain HP alone.

If someone wants to achieve that 30k HP they still have to invest time on normal HP/MP washing route.

The alternative ways to gain HP aim to new players or high level unwashed characters to get the minimum HP for some common bosses like Horntail.

 

I dont have max hp myself, so I shouldnt be here arguing about this. Actually I failed with my HP wash and reached only 17k hp on my NL, even thought i planned to reach 18.750.
So through this i would be able to, but still I was thinking about players who actually decided to wash to 30k.

Maybe make that people can decide either they get "x" amount of hp or "y" fresh ap to put into stats (LUK/DEX/STR/INT)
I dont even know if its possible/realistic doing something like this :/ maybe some quests where u can decide the reward and pick between these ^ like 500hp or 5ap
Or a ring that u can scroll either with hp scrolls/stats scroll (obtainable from quests)

Thanky for the feedback community. I do hav some suggesjens we could add:

1. Give us use heneys town scroll from other parts of the universe on royalz. some times peaple trick me for teleport and i port key to them but i end up in Omegalul sector. they said they are in kerning city so i tele port but its not the truth. my toon stuck in omegalul sector rite now and why i cant use henessy return scroll?

2. There is 1some named Sam on d*ck's cord. he always makes weird noise in voice channel. GIVE US AN OPTION TO MUTE HIM MICROPHONE on discord.

3. uber driver giv ing me attitude. told him to drop me off at centrelink to repot my income but he take me to police station. gave him 2 stars.

um, if u know the amount of effort it takes to wash up, even if its just to 17k hp, then why do u want others to have to go through that shit as well?

 

Glad Royals seems to be slowly transitioning away from washing, it is an absolute cancer on the endgame and I flat out refuse to do it. I understand it would be frustrating to those who went through with the process, but if Royals came up with an alternative method and the entire meta changed from one day to another, sure there would be a lot of people getting upset, but after 3 months everyone would have gotten over it and would be enjoying a washless meta, which is in the best interest of EVERYONE, not just the top 1% of players that can even afford something like that.
