I think there’s just less incentive to grinding now because people are no longer competing in rankings/racing to 200. For attackers, bossing already gives enough exp progress per day to feel “fast” (think daily shaolin + krex or HT), and there’s really not much incentive to go out of their way to grind (aside from preference/taste!) if they will get to 200 anyways some day just with their daily bossing.
This is an interesting post, with many many differently detailed, pleasant to read opinions. But from my acquaintance with nostalgic maplestory gameplay experience I wouldn't suggest to further implement already existing content from futuristic Original maplestory content but rather conduct a study together with the community possibly in a form shape of an event? (In game event, or design a boss event, or design an extension of story lore, design a new location, NPC, quests, mobs maybe even classes that don't exist in Gms). It is possible to extend rather than implement. In terms of code of the core and in terms of actually creating original to Maple royals content. I would rather enjoy my stay in royals with new balanced content being developed. that I never had the chance to enjoy and play, thanks to Big Bang patch rather than seeing that FatAssPinkBeanutbutter again.
I love grinding ToT. It sucks I waste 5 smegas trying to find a partner even when I have hs mule. It is true, why grind when there are enough bosses now to bounce around from one to another. I am all for a new world to be opened with lower rates. Especially when people got to gain an advantage from abusing the "current meta" of the years. If we open a new world everyone will get to start with the same rules and regulations of this new refined version of MapleRoyals.
