Zancks’ 4th Job Skill/Mastery Book Guide

Price of TT20 is down to 100m.

 

I think I remember getting that book when hunting for their etc. drop.

I've been hunting them for awhile now to avail, to which a quick hiddenstreet and ayumilove check showed them to be dropped by brexton instead.

 

Must have been a typo then.

 

On closer inspection, its entirely possible that they both drop the skillbook. My bad.

 

Until someone can prove or debunk this, I'm going to leave it as is.

 

I got my 4th job corsair finally last week. While the guide was very helpful, there were a few inconsistencies:

1- Unlocking Hypnotize skill; there are indeed 3 stages, but the snakes do not teleport you back to the start if you touch them. Neither do any of the other traps/obstacles. Additionally, there was no protection quest needed. After reaching the end of the 3rd stage, I just talked to the npcs, and the skill was unlocked.
2- Unlocking Air strike; unfortunately, no part in your guide matches up after talking to Lord Jonathan.:Instead of the 3 stages, he simply asks you to gather 100 of various types of wings and 100 destroyed nests:


After bringing him these items to him, the skill is unlocked.

3- Unlocking Battleship; Kyrin can deal up to 3500 magic damage, and the timer is set to 5 minutes. Luckily, everything else matches up after that.

We should try to verify with other corsairs if they ran into similar situations while unlocking their skills.

 

Thanks for making those corrections. I've never done the quests for the skills before and I just copied and pasted what was online at the time. I'll be sure to credit you once I fix up the main part.

 

Just did the Blizzard quest and am doing the Ice Demon quest for I/L and I have a few minor tips/corrections.

The elevator to Korean Folk Town is still broken and if there are others like me, they don't know you can get to KFT through Aqua Town so you might want to add that.

For the Ice Demon quest, it's Vogen not Vogan. You might also want to add that he's the El Nath jewel maker because I was very confused before I figured out where to go.

Chief Qualm Guardian drops Power Stance 30.

 

The HT book prizes are outdated.

TT30, for example, is only 900m these days.

And found a typo at Enrage 30, you said Chief Tatama instead of Tatamo.

 

I'll take another look at the prices. Might need some help because I don't follow the prices that closely, but I'll make some changes based on what I've seen so far.

You have dragon strike mixed up.
dragon strike 30 drops at squids
and 20 drops from spirit vikings

 

Apparently Blizzard 20 also drops from Oblivian Guardian in Temple of Time.

Those drops are version 0.93 so I'm not considering those.

 

I can easily confirm Blizzard does not drop from Oblivion guardians. I've trained there for countless hours and never found a single one.
