Easily one of the most exciting damage formulas that I've found while playing: MAX = ((Magic²/1000 + Magic)/30 + INT/200) * Basic Attack * Amp MIN = ((Magic²/1000 + Magic * Mastery * 0.9)/30 + INT/200) * Basic Attack * Amp Will be updating with 100% accurate one shot and two shot ranges. For the revamp of this guide, I'll be using kills per hour instead of levels because the XP given is different due to the level difference and with the XP Table that I made recently, you should be able to get a much more accurate number. Wolf Spider per hour: 42.5m Skelegon per hour: 110m Ulu Estate 1 per hour: 49.4m Ulu Estate II per hour: 63.7m Memory Monk per hour: 40m Another breakthrough formula that will make my time so much easier making a revamp guide. I found the formula for how much XP a leecher will get per kill and thus per hour! With this formula in mind, all I need to do is figure out the XP/Hour for the most popular leeching locations and I'll know the %/Hour for everything single situation! Super pumped up!

I have the time it takes for 0% -> 100% for Arch Mage leech for levels 75-100 if you'd like them. I had mentioned previously to you that I would do this but it took a bit longer then I thought, due to the fact I went through 3 different characters before I decided on one. I thought I was going to have my own post with it but I have no idea how I would begin to make the thread without it just being a data sheet. If you think it would help with any of your projects I would be more then happy to give you the data. P.S I messed up.... ((1136 ^ 2 / 1000 + 1136) / 30 + 881 / 200) * 520 * 145%= 64307.302800000005 That does not look right at all, seeing as I can do about 73k. I did the amp percentage at 145 due to 135% for elemental amplification and 10% for elemental wand 7 bonus. Could you correct me on this please (Total magic: 1136__Total Int:881__Basic attack: 520__Ele Amp: 135%__ Wand Bonus: 10%)
Wand 7 with blizzard should be 130%, right? It's 110% with lightning skills. so it's ((1136^2/1000 + 1136) / 30 + 881 / 200) *520 * 1.30 = 57654.8232 and then another 130%. 57654.8232 * 1.3 = 74951.27016, or almost exactly what you expected. For a little side-fun, if you were to upgrade to blizz 30 without changing anything else, you would see a bump in your max damage to 82158.12306. Your min (assuming ults follow the mastery pattern of other atks) is currently standing at 55151.32039, and with a bump to 30 would become 65378.72146. To make that more readable: Blizz 20 Blizz 30 ∆ Maximum 74951.27016 82158.12306 +7206.8529 Minimum 55151.32039 65378.72146 +10227.40107 I hadn't realized that the difference in min dmg between 20 and 30 would be more than the difference in max dmg until just now. With that in mind it's even more worth it to go get those ult books, since mage training is much more dependent on min dmg than max.
Elemental bonus for wands are 25%, not 10%. Also, don't add the percentages together, that's not how you calculate them. Use one number at the time because the end result will be higher than if you were to combine them. You can go ahead and post the data on this thread if you'd like or make an entirely new thread because I'm sure you'd like to get a bit of recognition over that. Calculating levels isn't too hard anymore now that I figured out the leeching formula. I could calculate how much is needed for any level in a matter of minutes if you follow the equation above and know the fix rates for Bishops/Arch Mage's hourly XP rates at those leeching maps. I'm planning on updating that as well. Been busy with finals and last minute holiday plans and testing for another guide that I'm currently working on (I/L Guide) that will also implement all these equations into that guide. Blizzard 30 as it stands right now is still relatively expensive so I'd probably just wait it out a bit more before investing in a Blizzard 30.
Thank you that's very helpful!!! I don't think that ill be getting Bliz 30 any time soon though. I have a terrible time making money and I absolutely despise leeching. The only way I would consider getting Bliz 30 would be if it was below 200m (which it will probably never be) or if I got it in a run.Its also not really much an investment for Arch Mages, due to the fact that our leech isn't exactly the most sought after. I would like to get some recognition for the information. At the same time though, I have no idea what I would do for the thread besides just posting the data. I don't think it would really fit in that well in the guides section, due to it being really just numbers... Maybe if I get to finish all that I want for it. Also, I used to think that the wand bonus was 25%, but for so long people kept telling me that it was 10% so I just figured I was wrong. Excited to see whats in store for the I/L Guide though!!!
It's 25% to the primary element, and 10% to the secondary. so 7 gives 25% ice 10% lightning, 8 gives 25% lightning, 10% ice, etc. http://royals.ms/forum/threads/how-elemental-wands-staves-work-in-v-62.7145/
Depends. If you can afford/find 1-hit Petri leech, you're golden from 105 onwards. Normally, a Bishop will 2-hit Petris and 1-hit Skeles, though, so once you're LV. 108, you'll most likely end up at Skeles.
@Marty summed it up perfectly. If you are leeching your own character, I suggest leeching at Ulu Estate II for mesos. Petrifighters and Skeles aren't known for their meso potential, but the Ulu Estate maps are. If you're not in a rush to make a new character, I highly recommend you stick to the Ulu Estate maps for XP and mesos because everyone eventually make mesos. Update on this guide: I'll slowly be revamping this guide. I'm going to be adding much more accurate numbers, formulas and changing up the look to please the eyes a bit more. If you have any suggestions, please let me know.
If you can include the magic needed for gen10 for places where you only have gen20 listed, that'd be nice too.
Sure, why not. Might take a while to do every single one of them and it's hard to tell because Int plays a small role into the damage, so it's not going to be exact. Updated guide slightly. To do list: Calculate amount of magic to one shot monsters Take out spoilers Add more information on monsters Delete recommended leech prices Add in estimated XP/Hour
I'm not going to factor in leeching prices because it's really up to the players what they would like to charge or pay. C2? Not sure what you may be referring to. Going to update this guide with new Arient/Mag. maps.
http://bbb.hidden-street.net/map/mini-map/alcadno-research-institute-lab-area-c-2 used to have massive spawn. EDIT: C2 at first glance looks like garbage C3 may be intriguing as an alternative to GS2 especially as an area for self leeching due to GFA 60%.
They give pretty bad XP compared to Slimy, but if the spawn is really nice, it might give GS2 a run for it's money.
The EXP: HP on these is 27.1:1 and 27.3:1 - GS5 is 25:1 and GS2 is 23:1. So these are a little worse compared to GS 5 as GS 5 is compared to GS 2. The spawn would have to be OBSCENE to make up for the difference, but GFA 60%s do go a long way towards tying things up, I agree.
From what I'm hearing from others, the spawn needs to be looked at and buffed so I doubt GS2 will be replaced by anything.
