Minor Combo attack damage boost seems.... wrong.

    Does he know that the skill deactivates once you switch channels and hit a mob?

    Feel like we could use an update on this. After doing a little bit of numbers seems like combo attack does around 100% less than it is intended to do.

    I believe there is, but I will let Andreas do the talking since he has first-hand experience on it. But like I previously said, don't get your hopes too high because the issue isn't really with the skill itself.

    The client handles the damage so the damage is what it should be, far as I can see it seems to just be a faulty description, and the skill is not going to be buffed based on this.
    If you think this skill or any other needs better balance you will have to make a feedback thread for that.

    No one is saying the skill needs to be buffed in anyway. Were stating that it simply isn't providing the correct amount of damage that is in the description of the skill. If its a "Faulty description" as you state, what exactly is faulty? The damage numbers? The % damage boost in the skill description? Either way it says Combo attack is 220% damage, it also states here https://bbb.hidden-street.net/character/class/crusader that it is a 220% damage boost. There is something wrong with how the client executes the code for the actual skill, because its either not coded correctly or its a faulty description and the damage boost is supposed to be lower, which according to the the current .83v is supposed to be 220% and then 250% with advanced. When being tested which Im sure OP did as they stated above, Also me when I maxed combo with my Crusader then ACA when I hit 4th job the numbers simply do not add up to what they are supposed to be. So please if you could give a better description of the exact problem with the skill it would be appreciated.

    In light of the new drk buffs, wanted to check out combo damage again.

    Tested it out with just mw, no atk pots on 1h sword. Attacked for over 10 minutes at HHG1
    Lowest line was 17xxx highest was 30xxx with no combo
    With combo lowest was 32xxx and highest was 58xxx.

    250% combo > 260% brandish so should be minimum 2x dmg but it's not from damage lines.
    Also it's not RNG either as I can hit 30 without combo pretty often but never reached 59 with combo. Seems to be roughly a 1.9x dmg boost instead of ~2.08x.

    Is there any description of how combo is supposed to scale?

    --nvm aca is 250% which aint even brandish

    I think for normal combo atk (3rd job one) you start with 120% with 1 orb then 5% more for each orb up to 140%

    The 4th job one give extra damage for the first orb (+1% per level up to 30% at max) so that you get 150% after 1 orb, then it give the normal 5% for the next 4 blue orbs and 4% for each of the pink orbs.
    With max orbs you get 190%.
    I'd say it's kinda balanced? It's a bit weaker then zerk or the Paladin elements (130%X1.5 ele weak=195%) but doesn't need low HP or to remember and switch elements every time

    That would explain the 1.9x estimate. Should have a change in description to help explain that though.
    And I'll agree to disagree on the balanced portion, especially now with the 2.1x serk & hp-assistance in serking (with the boost in achilles)
    But thanks for the calc clarification!
