I find it much easier to just grind instead but I'm wonder if there are any quests that actually gives useful things or lots of xp?
There's a repeatable quest in the alien zone (sorry can't think of the name to save my life right now) that gives you 10m and 1m exp in exchange for 500 mateon tentacles.
Maybe it's only 5m, but I know it's millions...and maybe that's where I got those versal materias from that I didn't know where they came from xD
It's 500 Mateon's Tentacles for 500k exp, 5 million mesos and 1 black versal materia. You talk to the NPC named Spindle in Omega Sector. The exchange quest in Orbis requires 100 etc items from any Orbis/Nath mob. Talk to Staff Sergeant Charlie (I think that's his name, he's close to the FM Entrance in Orbis anyway). The reward for every 100 items is 50k exp and a random crap item. Some quests give GFA 60%, e.g. Subani's Legacy (Bigger Ben, NLC), etc.
Depending on your level: 60+ Muirhat's quests in the Nautilus are amazing. 50+ Straw Target Dummies questline 40+ nothing too amazing 30+ Strange Dish 20+ Sleepywood kill quests Remember, most Nautilus quests that work are very good exp.
