Correct. You basically need to be carry all the way till 135+ when you finished MP washing and then resetting you base int.

As the guy above me stated, you are correct. Early game is non-existant when HP washing.

following this goal to wash a 20k hp nl, what would be a good base int to aim for? 300?
or what would be a good overall amount of int to aim for, including int gears?

I'm not an expert but from playing with calculators 240-250 int seems to be the most cost efficient when paired with mp washing for such high hp goals. as for int gear...its pretty cost inefficient for the amount of mp u get, for eg each 10 extra int only saves u 1 level of mp washes, which is 5 apr. so don't overspend on int gear

I personally recommend 300 base int, and around 50-100 int gear. the gear matters much less than the base int. But if you can optimally over 400 int (gear and base int together)is best.

This is anecdotal, but I found that if you keep your INT and LUK around the same until you reach your INT goal, you can at least be a functional thief. You can do your job advancements without attack pots, and you can participate in CPQ without embarrassing yourself. Drawback is that you will end up with a bit less MP than if you'd added it all as early as possible- but even so, huge goals like 20k HP aren't out of reach if you MP wash a lot.

Even with 4 LUK, you can kill stumps for the beginner thief's training lesson, so you can actually just dump INT from the very start and "leech" to lv30 off of quests/orbis exchange before starting to add LUK.

What is hp for NL to survive HT? and at that hp, what is a good range for total DEX/LUK + WATT to do good dmg vs HT?

Why MP was all lvls from 71 to 135? Is it so that you have enough extra MP to HP wash every level from 136 to 200?

Is it a smart option to HP wash a bit in the levels 71-135? Or is it better to MP wash all lvls there? (if so why yes ort no)

Its to ensure you have a lot of extra MP. You can hp wash a bit if you want. Nothing is set in stone.

It is impossible to me to do a job advancement at lvl 30 to an assassin due to no luk investment.

Are there any disadvantages if I continue levelling my char to 135, while still stuck on 'rogue'?

No disadvantages at all. You just have to know exactly how many points you can use at each job when you finally do go for them. I dont remember any of the numbers off the top of my head so you'll have to look those up if you want to go that route. You won't miss out on any hp/mp or ap either. Unless something has changed. Which i doubt that.

You can use maple pop to add accuracy, or other accuracy items, and apple to get WA.

Is the minimum mp formula accurate only after 2nd job? I made a rogue to level 10 and based on the formula, I should have 10 x 14 +148 which is 288 total mp, but I only have 158 total mp.

    hmmm...

the mp formula is correct. I don't know what you are basing your *should have* on, but the number you get is what you have.

This is the formula so you can calculate it yourself. Also the answer to minimum MP at level 40 is 708.

This is the only part I don’t fully understand.
    1. Why would I MP wash at a low state of base int?
    2. Shouldn’t I just add into INT Till I reach my int goal and MP wash after that?

(Only looking at the level ups where I can’t HP wash)
    ty for writing this down!
