    Hey everyone!
I recently advanced my priest to bishop and got genesis.
First thing I did was start practicing telecasting and learning some low level maps so I could start selling leech and fund my characters.

Thing is, I don’t feel confident in leeching others yet. Mainly because my telecasting technique isn’t the best atm and many buyers require it.
But anyone who plays a Bishop knows the mp cost is quite heavy so I will need to start funding myself soon ^_^'

How did you guys start leeching? Did you feel the same way I do and if so, how did you get over it?
Would love to hear about how everyone started their leech selling journey(and maybe get good advice from some of you):)

    Thanks for the response guys~
I actually practiced telecasting again today, and after a lot of frustration, I decided to switch up the keys a little. Moved genesis from Ctrl to Z and kept tele on Shift.
AND OH MY GOD did that make a huge difference!
My telecasting is now working 90% of the time and it made me gain so much more confidence.
Gonna practice a bit more then try and sell my first hour of leech!:o

Welcome to the world of leeching!

I'm an Ice/Lightning and started out leeching even before my HS mule was ready ^_^' But of course, I sold em at really low prices and kinda used the time to experiment out on leeches. Plus, I wasn't able to TC at that point cuz my laptop keyboard was pretty junky. I remember selling leeches at like 10-15m/h split, 20-25m solo back in those days lmao.

The first few times selling leech can get a little intense. But generally, you'll overcome it.

Currently, I have a HS mule up and running, able to TC 100%, with max speed and jump, 1 hitting petris at lv148 and am enjoying selling leech as much as my customers enjoy receiving them. I've met tons of new friends on this leech journey of mine too, with a majority of em sticking around to buy more leeches, or even become bossing/chill session buddies.

    Edit:
If you're having problems with TC, one suggestion would be to get a normal mechanical keyboard rather than using your laptop keyboard (if you're using a laptop). The keys are much more sensitive imo.

Can vouch for this, superg0ten97 top leecher in Royals with 100% TC <3

When I first started leeching I generally charged lower prices than average, I was TCing successfully maybe 70% of the time, and as I improved/gained confidence I raised the price to average. It does take a bit of practice to get used to so don't feel incompetent as a bishop at all if you struggle a bit at first!

On a side note, a friend of mine (Whooopsie) got 100% TC after buying a mechanical keyboard that he now swears by (and apparently his friends also did this), an Alcatroz Jelly Bean A2000 keyboard... though I've never tried it myself (I just use a laptop keyboard and I'd say I have 99% TC)

So it seems like my TC problem is almost solved, so I think I'll start selling soon and simply sell for lower than average until I get the hang of it!
Hopefully I'll also manage to make friends out of this whole process~

I'm pretty sure I'll get the hang of TC soon since I've found the best key combination for my keyboard, so it feels real good atm.
And yeah, I'm know I won't do as good as the mages that leeched me(at first), but I know it's just a matter of getting used to the whole leeching thing!

Must say I'm more excited about this than I expected myself to be!

Welcome to the world of leeching :p I completely understand not being able to telecast properly but if it helps, you can always sell leech at a lower price and practise your telecasting at the same time. I used to sell low level leech at 30/60 until I was comfortable with telecasting. You'd be surprised at how little people actually care about telecasting lol.

Alternatively, you can also sell leech at places that don't require telecasting, such as Cellions, Sage cats, and maybe even Python and Windraiders.

Good luck with your training and please do not burn out :) Remember that it's just a game!

Thank you! Obviously it’s just a game but I actually really enjoy challenging myself.
Although failing to TC can be sometimes frustrating I know it’s just a matter of time until I get used to it!
And honestly, when I do get TC right - it’s one of the more satisfying things I do, so I’m enjoying it so far~

Hopefully soon I’ll have time to sell my first leech so I could actually see what it’s like from the seller perspective! :)
