    Really? :O That's not much.

I'm actually running more extensive tests on ME damage today, because the values in the guide are not that accurate. But have to update the job choice guide first. :O

I'm planning on making Chief Bandit mules for Pap Crack farming and seeing as they train the fastest from 70-80, I'm going to be using Meso Explosion quite frequently. Let me know if you need any information pertaining to lower level ME.

    Good to know.

I think Mr. Alli should be considered a viable money making and training location. They give a bit more XP than a Slimy, but they drop the Maple Dark Mate so you don't have to worry too much for farming a weapon later on. Also, they drop Maple Wisdom Staves, Earring Int 60%, Power Crystal Ores and One-Hand 60%. Good for making money and hunting for your Level 64 weapon in exchange for XP/Hour.

Hi this is neily again, I took ur advice and tried to hunt Big Foot. I checked BBB Hidden Street, examined all the possible spawn places, and changed channels but I didnt see one. Any tips for finding one? Helps are appreciated.

P.S.: I m trying to do the quest to get Silver Star which require BF toe T_T

Hunting Bigfoots is very hard because the competition for them is extremely fierce. Chances are if you really want to finish the Silver Deputy Star questline, you'll have to get a Bigfoot right when the server restarts.

Watch the uptime. BFs respawn every ~20 hours (if my sources are correct), so when the uptime is at 20-22 hours or at 1 day, 20-23 hours (or right after an SC), there's a high chance there's a Bigfoot up. And also check the uncommon maps first, so Evil Dead and Twisted Paths 3, 5 and 1.

    Check uptime with ~uptime. :)

Wait so dps/range wise, are standard bandits the strongest? Regardless of funding?

    Yes.

And ME will out-DPS normal attacks at bosses almost always, unless assassinate gets fixed.

At BF, shads can get around 50,000 DPS.
At Zakum, a good shad can reach up to 110,000 DPS at body.

So really the only things stopping Shadowers from being at full power is an Assassinate fix and Boomerang Step cool down rate.

I saw a shadower using assassinate yesterday on a zakum run and he didn't d/c..

Anyways, is there even a slight chance that Royals will update to the v.84 skillset?

They promised. But I doubt it'll happen anytime soon.

And yes, Assassinate isn't as bad as it used to be, but it can dc you still.

Hi just want to ask for experience, what macro are Shadowers using for attack at the moment beside dark sight + assassinate?

I just hit 120, wondering any good places to grind. :D

On a side note, i read other threads said that Taunt has been fixed but there are threads said none. Can someone confirm the status please? Thank you.

    1. Taunt isn't fixed.

    2. You don't really use macros, because you tend to use all skills for different purposes. Bstep is your main skill, BoT and SB are used for finishing off mobs. Assaulter can be used to get around. Assassinate isn't really used for grinding.

I did some more research and found a damage formula for ME online; it wasn't very accurate, so I altered and simplified it a bit to be somewhat accurate.

Single bag damage (1 bag dropped):

    MAX: (25000 + [ME level] x 2500 / 3) x ([Bag size] / [Bag size] + 5250)
    MIN: (25000 + [ME level] x 2500 / 3) x ([Bag size] / [Bag size] + 5250) x 0.5

This shows average damage per Meso Explosion used:

    (27500 + [ME level] x 2750 / 3) x ([Bag size] / [Bag size] + 5250) x 10
Only applies to full MEs, so with 20 bags lying on the ground!

Also noticed something else: The damage per bag drops the more bags are exploded. Example: 1x 5,000 mesos will do ~22,000 damage. 20x 5,000 will do ~270,000 every time.

    Some updates.
    • Added blood bandit AP build.
    • Added Krexel to training section.
    • Added credits where due.
    • Stole @Plenty's idea of using quotes for SP builds. (<3)
    • Working on a BFing, pap, zak, HT and Krexel video right now; will add soon.
    • Fixed typos.
    • Added Meso Explosion formulae and new graph to display the average damage dealt by ME.
    • Shortened some parts. This guide might be in-depth and covers everything there is to cover, but I tend to write too much sometimes...
    • Updated damage examples in AP builds section to be more accurate.
    • Updated Assassinate's status.
