Hi, I have decided to start a new bowmaster and HP wash him properly so I could boss and. He is currently level 44 with 1469 HP, 1530 MP, 207 base int, +66 int gear (will improve once hit lv50) and I mostly lvl him with MW20. I am unsure of what HP goal I should aim for. my guildmates say that 18k is the bare minimum, but some comments here say that 12k is more than enough. It's important to mention that this will be my main bossing account and i'd like not to be limited by my HP, so is 12k really enough? I don't mind getting like 14k and doing the daily hp quest too. I'd like to finish washing by lv140
i would say 18k is playing it safe since with the help of hb you can get 30k hp which is the maximum available , i think 12~14k would be enough for bossing in the current state of the game since theres no boss that can really deal 30k unless you feel like wandering into the HT tail . i would recommend getting 18k tho just to be safe
If you can and don't mind getting lots of meso to invest, 18k is pretty good for everything... But honestly I think 12k is enough for all available now. No plans on pink bean, so I guess 12k will suffice for a good amount of time.
Since you are already pouring resources into a washed bowman, I say get 12k-14k HP, but also get enough MP to wash to 18k+ so you have the option to get more HP if needed. And until you wash all your MP into HP, a fat MP pool is great for staying in Hurricane for a long time.
I decided to HP wash until 18k, should I start MP washing now? I reached 220 base int and have 2 levelupAP as the picture shows
Depends on your end goal for this game. For the current version: If you do not planning to go auf haven as bowmaster, then 12k is enough for rest of the content. Otherwise you will need at least 18.7k hp to survive auf haven pq without hb (however do note that hb mule is very commonly found in auf haven pq, so you don't really need to wash 18k+). 18k is a safe chioce for pink bean, any hp higher than 18k is not necessary, and I don't think royals will ever release a boss, where only 30k hp player can join.
Where do you get this numbers from? The highest unavoidable attack you will receive in this PQ as a BM is around 9k (genesis attack from auf haven main).
I run auf on my nl + bm on a daily basis. Stage 1 Royal Guard will dash into player and cost a 18k+ touch dmg, highest was about 18.7k. It is unavoidable unless you are not attacking and afking on the staircase. Auf haven itself will dash into player with a touch damage <16.2k. If you are seduced and auf cast 2x magic ball attack, it is about 18k in total. So if you want to run auf without hb, 18.7k+ is a must.
This is wrong for SE mules as well as for active BM. There is a save spot on a pillar next to the entrance. You will not get hit once if you know how it is done there. You can practically survive this boss fight with any hp above 1. I admit that it needs skill to not die as an active BM in main body - and sometimes it is inevitable, however rather rare (special cases when heroes will is down and seduce and stun and what not comes together). I actually managed to solo survive for 15 minutes or so because my team died before me and HB ran out until I accepted the impossibility to win and chose death, however, of course is a lucky case - because of course without HB it is really hard to survive there. However for SE mules, this is easier to survive since they can just camp the save spot in the top right where they are never hit by that nasty charge. Very unlikely to die there, however I do not own a SE mule, might be wrong, but I spoke to people that park their mules there. -> What I question here, is the defintions of bare minima and these statements of sheer impossibilities, that I often encounter when people talk about HP washing and bowmasters. I do not say you will not die, but it is definitely possible - it just needs skill and a good internet connection.
Didn't know there is a safe spot for royal guard, thanks for the tip! Anyway, I use my bm as se mule for most of the time, 10k hp is enough to survive all attack from auf haven if you just standing on the top right platform. But for active bowmaster, it is nearly impossible to survive the run with <16.2k hp on the ground. From my experiences that bucc is extremely easy to die there and they are very important for the run. Therefore i think resurrection should be saved on bucc and bowmaster should not be risking the party on the run. So practically speaking, It is still recommended to keep at least 16.2k hp in auf main body. Thats my thoughts. By the way, the pillar you mentioned, is it the one above the computer? Or there is an another spot that can avoid royal guard's attack while shooting hurricane?
Np, make sure that the little copies do not knock you down. The guard boss himself cannot knock you down. You can simply press arrow up to tp to the 100% safe zone (the platform on the top left corner) if copies come over but usually the bs can keep them to the right. Credits go to MaiAh and BuccMarks20, from them I learnt this initially (sry if someone else showed me before this and reads this, my brain is leaky sometimes). It is the big pillar between the computer and the escalator on the left of the map. There is a hidden portal in front of it, which you can use by pressing up arrow key. Melee needs to pin left in that case and bs has to keep clones to the right of the map. In my case, there was lots of occasions when HB was dispelled and right in this moment, auf haven went to charge towards me. I was able to dodge without HB in 100% of all these cases. I died in cases when there was mass sed + stun and weird things where auf went completely crazy. But never in these standard situations where I got dispelled followed by a charge attack. My HP was around 11k back then. By slightly standing at the mid right area, you can still hit it while having enough time to back off and actually avoid the charge attack. You need to pay attention to your (hopefully competent) pinners of course. I will not lie, I would not risk to go without HB just in case I got lags, so I will not f*** up the run for others, just in the worst case. The only downside to this is that you cannot shoot at auf haven for 100% of cases and you really have to be focused 100% of the complete boss run, but for me this is not even a downside. It is exciting and actually probably the way it was meant to be. Edit: I do respect your opinion but I always feel sharing experiences that do not fuel power washing ranged classes, is also a side of the coin that is worth communicating.
You can try to do what I did. I have enough MP to wash to 18k, but I stopped at 12k, and if I ever need more, I can wash more HP. I have 13k HP and 9.2k MP right now. Also, the extra MP is nice if you wanna Hurricane out of client.
Hi, can i ask how do you MP and HP wash? is 300 INT enough to reach 18K HP? at which lvl? so basically, the way to MP and HP wash for bowman is to add AP to INT first to reach 300 INT, then start MP washing (put AP into MP when lvl up and use AP reset from MP reset to DEX), ← am i right? how many times do i need to MP washing for total in order to HP wash to 18K? finally when i have enough MP, all i need to do is to prepare enough APR and just subtract MP to HP, right?
