    Hello everyone! I am a new player here giving MapleRoyals a shot to reminisce the good ol' times :) I was just wondering about the whole server and community in general, how are the vibes like? :) its my first time playing a private server so idk what to expect.. Also pls HMU cos i need friends lollol

    Welcome to MapleRoyals! Currently not a good time to play due to the current dramas caused by a certain incident. However, generally, the content in this server is good. Good luck and enjoy the game. That’s the most important thing :)

    i've been on the server a while now and have generally had a great experience here! with any server you will run into a few toxic people but for the most part, you'll meet a lot of nostalgic old maplers who are here just to have fun and destress.

    some differences playing a private server like mapleroyals vs GMS back in the day is that the server definitely isn't pay-to-win, and if you stick around for a while the time you invest into the game will definitely show some results in your characters! you can also vote for free nx daily and this helps a lot with getting started (almost like a daily allowance).

    given that it's a private server with higher exp rates than old maple, i've also found that a lot of the collaborative gameplay is oriented towards mid/late-game bossing. starting from lvl 135 onwards you can begin to run Zakum and Krexel, and then from lvl 155 onwards, Horntail. These are a great way to meet some friends and maybe even find a regular bossing group. so don't get discouraged if you feel the gameplay is a bit slow-paced at times before 135 -- it is a bit of a grind to get there, take it slow and don't burn out!
