I understand that I have been banned for harassment, based on the ban message that I have received. However, could you please state what I have done and when it occurred?
Hi Raony, the previous ban on you has been reinstated due to a slight misunderstanding on our part. We apologise for this and hope that you may forgive us for that. You were and are currently banned due to the same incident, which is the alleged harassment that has been circling the forums lately. I am sure that you are aware of the said incident as you seem to have been responding to the threads that were initiated as a result of the overturn of your earlier ban. Therefore, could you please explain the circumstances leading up to that incident and essentially provide us with your narrative or perspective of what had happened?
I would like to preface this appeal by stating that I was good friends with the person who lodged the report against me. We used to share a lot with each other via chatting online and voice calls over Discord. We were comfortable with each other and always joked with each other in ways such as teaching each other to curse in our own languages and talking about explicit things, so naturally, our conversations were crude to begin with but had no bad intentions whatsoever. There was just a lot of banter going on, as you would expect from two adults who have fun with each other. The person who lodged the report against me was saying in guild chat that she was ‘flat’ and I sympathized with her as I was in that position before as well. I am now in a state where I have been working out for 9 years and have acquired significant knowledge about fitness and dieting. I am known among my friends to give out advice about lifting or fitness as I am a certified nutritionist. I tend to help others with their fitness-related issues as I like helping others feel good about themselves. Therefore, when I saw that she wasn’t very happy with her body, I decided to offer her some advice to try to help her out. Given the nature of our prior interactions, I reached out to her via PM so that she would not feel uncomfortable discussing this in guild chat. I offered her some advice by saying that she had a nice body but she could do some squats to make it look better. She asked me to stop and I stopped right there and then as I did not want to cross any lines with her. I also apologized right after she told me to stop and did not carry on with the conversation. I may have seemed like I was coming onto her but honestly, English is not my first language and I may have been a little crude with her in conveying my advice. I just wanted her to know that she was a good-looking girl and that if she’s unhappy with herself, she can do squats to make herself look even better. The only reason why I even approached her to offer advice like that is because she was my good friend – I would never approach a stranger to offer such an advice or speak to them in this manner. This incident also happened about a month ago and I am just skeptical about her motives for lodging this report because like I have mentioned, we were previously good friends but our friendship ended abruptly when her boyfriend was permanently banned for harassing me. I believe that she is only reporting it now because she wants some sort of retribution for what happened to her boyfriend, but I can only guess because I wouldn’t know for sure. During the time in which I was unbanned, she seemed to have realized that she has not managed to get me banned and decided to expose this all out of context and has failed to mention that we were friends and with only one screenshot that shows one of our endless jokes and sarcasms she made me look like a pervert to the whole community which clearly, I am not. If I had known that all she wanted was validation and not a solution when she complained about being ‘flat’, I would have left it at that and not offered her any advice. I genuinely thought that she wanted advice from people to help her with her body and this was all just a misunderstanding. I have been playing on this server for 6 years and have never had issues with anyone until now. Please try to see things from my side and know that this is just an attempt to get revenge on me for reporting her boyfriend and getting him permanently banned. If she genuinely felt harassed by this, she wouldn’t have waited until now to lodge the report. I look forward to receiving a reply from you. It has been brought to my attention that Sharu stated that she was never close to you. There seems to be quite a bit of speculation in your narrative above. What do you have to say about that?
I feel pretty bad about the fact that she denies we were good friends like that. I can prove our friendship with screenshots that I have, check your pms as this contains sensitive private information.
I have reviewed the screenshots that you sent to me and will bring them to the team's attention for consideration when we deliberate on the outcome of your appeal. However, I also require more input from you in relation to your appeal. You said that you were close friends with her up till the ban on loopy as they figured out that it was you who reported him. She is now claiming that her relationship with you broke down way before the ban on loopy. Could you please explain that?
Nothing have ever happened to me and her directly that would affect our friendship after the allegations she made towards me. But one incident happened with two friends of mine, which I will not elaborate too deep into it to respect their privacy, but Sharon told them to go f**ck themselves and continued to be toxic towards them. When I acknowledged this fact, I decided to step away a bit but never said anything to her since it was not my fight but she surely noticed it since I had stopped inviting her to boss runs and lending gear or giving her apples. At this point I believe she had gotten the message that I didn't want to be involved and held hostility towards me. The fact is, at the time of the screenshot we were good friends yes. The screenshot is old, we may had distanced a bit because of this isolated attitude she had towards good friends of mine which I believe was a fuel to her toxicity towards me start (as in the monkey memes mentioned in her thread by Tim). May I know if this was done in-game? It is not stated in the screenshot that was provided by her. Do you have any evidence of your apology? Could you please tell me more about this incident and when it happened? You have also stated that you used to lend her your gear and give her apples. Do you have any evidence of that? Could be a screenshot or video of you lending her the gear, or even chat messages.
I'll send you the evidence I have via PM. All the apples I gave her was by dropping to her hero in CWK runs before boss stage for example and HT runs to her bishop. I do that a lot to my friends. Also, I don't keep screenshots of the gear lending, but i have evidence of one time that she held one of my att sets, which is a fairly expensive set. I can send that via PM too. Also, I surely remember of one event though, where I traded her around 41 white scrolls to joke. As I stated, we joked a lot. Why would I trust 21b mesos over someone that is not my friend? And most importantly, if she was not my friend, why would she even give it back? This can be checked via log evidence of course. It was between my bishop knowledge and one of her characters.

After deliberation with the team based on all of the evidence that was provided to us as well as our logs, a majority of us have voted that your ban should be lifted and/or overturned. For the purposes of clarification and for your future reference, we do not in any way condone sexual harassment or harassment in any form. We have decided that your prior history with Sharon along with the manner in which the both of you have conducted yourselves before the breakdown of your friendship has raised some doubts about the legitimacy of the harassment report in question. We note that you have also stopped referring to her body when she told you to stop and you further stated that you did not mean to offend her. We have thoroughly scrutinised the evidence that were available to us and decided that on the balance of probabilities, we are more inclined to believe your narrative of events and believe that although your remarks in relation to her body may have been crude, you were not harassing her. Hence, we are giving you the benefit of the doubt in this situation for reasons already stated. Notwithstanding that, we are hereby giving you a stern warning to be very careful about the words that you use with other players to avoid a similar predicament in the future. Bear in mind that people have different perceptions of what may amount to harassment (or sexual harassment), so it is always better to err on the safe side and just not make crude or sexual remarks altogether. Please learn to show some respect towards the players around you and try to co-exist in the same server, as the main point of even playing any game is to have fun, and that cannot happen if there is toxicity surrounding you. We are only giving you this warning as we have noticed a rather discourteous, and perhaps even toxic behaviour that you have shown towards certain players who were being unkind towards you during the time that you were unbanned. Sometimes, all you need to do is turn around and ignore them. It doesn't make you a coward, nor does it mean anything except that you are showing them and others that you are capable of being the bigger person. There is absolutely no need to retaliate and fight fire with fire. You are more than welcome to report them for harassment if they persist with the slander and/or harassment after you have told them to stop, but take note that we will not hesitate to take action against you either, should the other party decide to lodge a legitimate report against you. With that being said, your accounts have now been unbanned and you should be able to log into them now.
