Hi all, I'm a newbie player not just in the server but in terms of maple. Just decided to play the game on a whim after I saw a stream/YT video and a wave of nostalgia made me go and jump in, and according to most this is the no. 1 server so here I am. Have played this game way back around '05 or was it '06, but only managed to reach around 30+ IIRC, so I'm totally clueless to most jargon and am googling such terms when I come across them atm, like TMA/HP Washing/APR etc. Been reading the guides and currently have a level 29 magician planning to be a Bishop as it is the best starting class according to what I've read so far. Have been farming on Ligators for a Maple Staff but only got a Maple Scorpio. Is the drop chance for the Staff really low? Also how do I go and sell the Old Ragged Cape that I got from the Nora quest for my initial funds. Saw it on the guides so I immediately did it after hitting 25. Anyway, having a nice time so far in the server. Hope y'all have a nice day! Thanks for reading.
Maple Staff is one the rarer drops from ligators, but if you don't have one yet, I have an extra one I can give you. Take the game slow and enjoy it for what it is, the rest will come to you naturally. Welcome and enjoy your stay!
Oh, so it is a rare drop. Thanks for answering. Actually someone from discord gave me a Maple Staff just now. I now have a decent weapon. Thanks for the offer though, that's really nice of you.
Welcome to MapleRoyals! You can sell your cape or drops you have acquired so far using the Free Market (FM) that can be found in Henesys or Perion. The shops cost NX that you need to vote for, Make sure you are voting once a day. Voting daily can be useful as once you get to level 50 you could use this NX and sell APR (Ability Point Reset), They sell for 12~14m each. You can also test your luck with gachapon! I highly recommend Mushroom Shrine Gachapon for people who are just starting out as there is a higher chance for you to get something that is worth your while. Here are the most up to date price guides to get you started! Shay's Price Guide / Tiff's Price Guide Enjoy your stay!
