Hi – to understand how HP works in MapleRoyals, why doesn't my minimum HP match that of Shiyu's calculator? Am a 171 Shadower who's completed Water From the Spring of Youth, so why doesn't my HP, 7382 - 500 = 6882, match what it should be on Shiyu's table for a 171 Shadower, 5755? Where did this additional 1127 HP come from? Attached shows that I've unequipped everything and do not have any AP left to take out of HP.
I believe royals had an update very far back that increased the hp gains from your job advancements. Shiyui's calculator was probably designed before this update.
The average natural mp pool for a lvl 171 shadower, according to Shiyui's chart, is 3044. This is if you level with 4 base int and no additional int gear. Your current mp pool is 2539. It looks like you already hp washed a bit with the natural excess mp.
Never did the new HP quest. Did do ~40 washes around 135, but then AP resetted them out of HP and back into LUK – as can be seen by not being able to AP reset anymore HP out now. Any idea why I still have the HP gained from washing?
Right, I did do ~40 washes around 135, but then AP resetted them out of HP and back into LUK – as can be seen by not being able to AP reset anymore HP out now. So how come my HP didn't drop back down to 5755 after taking out of HP and putting it into LUK? Is that how MapleRoyals works? If you HP washed and then later AP reset out of HP into a main stat, you retain the HP gained from washing? If so, is this a glitch or intentional?
sparky95 provided an excellent description in-game: HP and MP share the same pool that you can take AP out of. So the 40 AP taken out of MP and added into LUK prevent another 40 AP taken out from HP again.
So I assume your real question is why can't I take AP out of hp (which sparky already answered)? and you thought unable to take AP out of HP means you are at your base hp? Also if you hp washed, why did you take AP out of HP again, or did you mean MP?
So you rather have more MP then HP? Do you know that MP/HP share the same pool? You could also just take out from MP, and put back to LUK. Or were you already at your minimum MP?
