Mimic monster card and RNG

    No monster card love for mimics I see

    Also: insane petition to add mimics to randomly spawn in bonus rooms when opening chests (gpq, cwk, apq, event rooms) and other maps/pqs with chests like in deep aqua, etc. for the glorious RNG

    give them them the ability to slow, stun, weaken, poison, dispel, or seal players, and deal % based magic damage as well as their regular touch damage so they're a challenge to all levels, but also still drop respective bonus items at a slight increased rate for the challenge/time loss

    mimics outside of bonus rooms/pqs could have their own drops as well, refined regular jewels, gold ore, regular khanjars, nearest town scroll, potions, random omok pieces, barricade booster (rare), yellow ragged cape (rare), eloon, red whip, scimitar, bow of magical destruction, ninja ambush sbs, event items, and their own monster card with a unique buff (increased meso drop? increased def?)

    new set to collect, and more sweet, sweet chaos ~f11

    I'd love to see this. This little guy only shows up in Zakum stage 1 and its such a pity. He's a versatile cute mob

    The idea of adding this mob to the book would potentially encourage high-level collectors to mingle with low-level players and that's great, But considering that you can enter this stage solo this could also create a high amount of traffic especially upon release. Collectors might enter the first stage just for the sake of farming these cards and hold on to the channels, Preventing or making it difficult for new players to actually do the pre-quest.

    If released, This new card set should be accompanied by other sets suggested by the community or any other type of anticipated content.

    As for your other suggestion, I don't think that allowing them to spawn from CWK, APQ, or GPQ boxes would be a good idea. These stages already have a flair of chaos to them and some classes are not as mobile as others and utilize buffs like SI or haste to make up for the lack of mobility. Not to mention how aesthetically unpleasing it would be to see one of those cuties when you do your daily apple picking. ~f3

    Chaotic, yes, but give them slightly increased rates to drop any bonus item, and given most third jobs can one shot them, it would be so fun. Haste is a must in bonus room organization

    About farming, that's why I suggested more drops added to their table, and to make it a relatively harder card drop. Zak pq has no speed buffs so it makes it a bit tedious too. Their spawn could also be lowered a bit in there to counter it, but also why it would be fun to see them maybe pop out of any other chest in the game, and ultimately nothing is fun if it's too easy and without a little spice and challenge ~f11

    The idea of introducing mobs to PQ bonus stages can be refined more and should be an idea of its own. ~f2

    Just aesthetically speaking, it doesn't have to be a Mimic as this mob doesn't fit in with every location and would stick out like a sore thumb in some of the places suggested such as Aqua and Amoria party quest. Not to mention the technical aspect of your suggestion and how it would come to fruition balance-wise as we have to consider lower level players who APQ and GPQ and how debuffs and those 'challenges' can impact them.

    Well they don't even fit in with the zak chests superficially, but dang if they aren't a great mob. Pallette swap and throw on some algea here, some blue wrapping paper with yellow stars there.

    As for curveball difficulty, they can definitely be nerfed in apq. GPQ is kind of a mess and usually there is at least a bs if not archmage and there are tele spots inside gpq bonus as well. I have given gpq bonus a lot of feedback as well, I think there should be like 20 more seconds to the timer and foreground obstructions should fade in and out depending on proximity, but anyway yes, difficulty can be curved but imagine how fun that would be.
