Maple Royals Gambling Method: Hi, I would like to suggest for a new command ~rolldice. Dice Range: 0-100 Display: In Chat Window Example: "Dice (0-100): xxx" Players can use this command to bet against someone else. For example, if two players agree to bet 1b, then either player can bet on an odd or even roll. Player 1: Bet's Odd Player 2: Bet's Even Rolling dice.. "Dice (0-100): 57" Player 1 wins 1b If an issue of scamming occurs, then the victim can submit a screenshot of the other player stating, "I agree to the terms of the bet." Duration of Ban would be decided by the Maple Royals staff. I'm leaving this open as a poll - please vote and state your opinion. Thank you! Multi-Purpose Function Maple Royals Loot Method: Instead of arguing who get's the loot, player's can roll the dice instead. Maple Royals Last Piece of Pie Method: Want the last piece of pie, but there's 20 other people trying to get it? Simple, just roll the dice. Maple Royals Party Member Selection: You and another guy arguing for the last spot in a Zak run? No problem, roll a dice to see who gets in. Bad at making Decisions? That's alright, you can roll the dice and it'll decide for you. ~Purify
I agree with you bud. Unfortunately, coding the Omok and Match card sets is challenging. I suggested the command function because it is relatively easy to code into the game. Thanks for your feedback!
Definitely an idea worth considering, but as has been said, having Omok/Match Card sets working would be a lot better. I know the staff has been working on that since the beginning of time, but yeah... Who knows, maybe it'll be fixed/implemented soon... -ish.
Seeing this more as solution for Looting system rolling on Horntail Pendants or something the one with most gets to loot.
+1 to this, I've had a positive experience with this in WoW when it comes to loot distribution due to everyone being able to see the results.
I'm on the fence when it comes to gambling. Infamous gamblers can get extremely rich and in many cases in other games, this lead to real world trading. Recently, real world trading has definitely been going on and with gambling, I can't see it getting any better.
You've got a point there. However it wouldn't be the only gambling method out there, people can gamble their luck with scrolling too. The function can be used for other things too, which serves as a nice perk. It has some negative effects, as well as positives.
I think rolling dice would be useful in cases like this. Maybe make it broadcast to the map so that others can see the dice results as well?
I like this idea, at least for the looting suggestion. Dungeon Fighter Online has this system in place, where looting anything that's blue colored or higher initiates a dice roll and the person with the higher number automatically gets that loot in their inventory. It works very well and there's never any argument over cheating or looting out of order if it's a huge item. Now, obviously this wouldn't be the same because I'd imagine automatically putting things in players' inventories would be too much of a hassle to code, if not downright impossible with a dice system, but at the very least this would lead to less blunders in looting and anyone who loots out of turn gets screenshot proof if the dice results can be shown on-screen. I'm not as down on the betting part, but to each their own on that one.
Polls are looking good! Thanks for voting guys, maybe this can get implemented. Hopefully it gets considered~ ^^,
I support, I got 1b, and willing to yolo with someone on gambling. If i lose I quit royals and move on with my life if I don't I'll play royals. And spend the 2b on stuff to finish a gear. win win more or less.
