IGN: Anndrea Problem: Client goes black and crashes after typing PIN and logging in. Details: This started when I got the new note notification (the green notification) and every time I clicked the the little "o" to read it, the client would freeze and crash. Now, I'm unable to log into the character itself because the client crashes right after logging in (I'm able to log into all my other characters except for my bishop specifically).
we believe we fixed this issue with today's patch, please let us know if you're still experiencing issues
Hi Tim, thanks for the response. Unfortunately, I am still having the same problem. I completely reinstalled everything after the patch and was able to log into all my other characters besides my bishop. If it helps, I noticed that my client date still says "November 26th, 2020" at the top even after reinstalling if that means anything. Any support would be appreciated!
The 1024x768 client is currently displaying the wrong date, the date display will be adjusted to 30th Jan later on Is it possible for you to install 800x600 client as well to see if the issue persists?
Hey Dave, thanks for the speedy response. My login issue still persists even though the date display is updated. I don't think this problem is related to the memo note anymore as I was still able to log in as long as I didn't open the note itself before any of this happened. Is it possible to have a GM warp my bishop somewhere else as maybe the last map it was in was glitched?
My Bishop works now, after all the server checks and reinstalling one last time. Thanks for the follow up, can close this thread now.
