Is anyone else getting frustrated that a bunch of alts is hogging all of the voodoos/hoodoos map???? They literally have a character on every channel just afking while their summon kills the monster and they collect all the heartstoppers in the world..... This is ridiculous, i found this person IGN: Tosaka, follow by a number from 1 to 6 camping 6 channels here for HOURS, that's a little sus (ya should really look into that). The game even help them by allowing them to have mapowner for 3 minutes after they LEAVE the map to sell, ensuring that they will never even lose the map...There been countless time where ive gone into a map, started killing 2 minutes later they come back and tell me to gtfo......LIKE HUH?.....what kinda horntail shit is that? The mobs that drop heartstoppers are already scarces and allowing someone to control 1/4 of the channel is too much. People are literally waiting in other people channels spamming ~mapowner in the hopes of someone not paying attention so mapowner can fall off and swiping it from them. Like comon... it has come down to tactics like that to even get a map nowdays to farm a few stoppers??? IT'S RIDICULOUS!! something should be done about this, add more maps that spawn voodoos/hoodoos or limit the amount of alts one can have camping these hotspots, reduce mapowner timer or even making this map into an instance where you can only stay for 1-2 hours at a time...SOMETHING! ANYTHING! Anyone else feel like this is a problem or am i just tripping????
Stopper farming was already nerfed when pets could actually loot in those maps. So while I feel like it could definitely be annoying, competition is a healthy part of any long lasting game, and regulating something like this in the manner you are suggesting is not feasible when popular maps and channels are limited. Farmers deserve to be rewarded for the time they've invested into their characters. You could always turn to other money farming spots too.
If you think that it's challenging to get 1 map for your 1 character it's 6 times as hard for that guy with 6 maps for his 6 characters. He has to find 6 maps all over again every time. Respect the hustle they put in to get there as they earn their maps fair and square just like you do.
for the people saying "just wake up in the morning early or stay up late and farm them" some of us work and only have selected hours to play. but than again ya probably dont give two fks about those people right.
I have been there and done that and agree with everything your saying. Frustrating and takes the chill fun part away of “afk farming”. Makes it into a map owner battle which IMO is not that serious lol. I read everyone else’s comments fair points. It’s fair play and within the rules. That does not make it less annoying or dumb to see 2 people own more than half the channels of a single map. Something should be done? Probably. Will there be a fix? not sure.
you make it sound like taking up 6 to 7 channels is a lot - I've seen people take up to 19 channels in the past. If these people are getting their maps and holding mapowner fair and square, I dont get why you're complaining. As @nosebleed said, if it's so hard for you to find one map - imagine how hard it was to get those 6 maps for this individual in this case. On top of that, have you made 6+ lvl120+ summon farmer characters, done the summon quests, and held onto 6 concurrent maps all at once? You make it sound like they don't deserve to reap the rewards of their work, but that goes to show YOUR entitlement and ignorance to the game and other players' hard work/dedication.
