Last year, at this very same time, I was not active in MapleRoyals. Most of the time, I would afk in the free market. I recalled seeing s-megas "S> ... Map" or "B> ... Map" and I was curious as to whether or not this server actually allows such activity. To my surprise, after asking around, they do allow. They also allow for sales of FM spots & buying/selling of IGNs. This year, I was really looking forward to the CNY event (Lunar New Year). This is officially my first CNY event. I was ready to farm red envelopes and try to earn as much as possible. However, for the past two days, I wasn't happy. When I was done with my farming, I eventually sell my maps. I have encountered a certain few people (they are always the same few people) who constantly harass me - scolding me with all kinds of words, whether or not through whispers or smegas, disagreeing with my conduct (in this case, selling of maps). I am not here to say that I agree with this activity. However, when you cc for almost an hour and are not be able to get one single map; or you return to the game afterwards hoping that there might be a map few hours later and to your disappointment, you still could not find a single channel/map available, you start to feel tired and exhausted. At this very moment, you saw a smega "S> Ulu 1 Map", you would instantly whisper that person and buy that map for convenience purposes. You got the map happily for i.e. 30m and you start farming or selling leech. In the midst of farming or selling leech, you constantly see smegas that state "B> Ulu 1 Map". When you are finally done with the map, you start to think, should I leave the map empty just like that or should I sell the map to cover up for the payment I've made earlier? Aside from the toxic attitude of these players/haters, I would also like to take this opportunity to thank those who have stood for me and supported me, via both whispers or smegas. I truly appreciate it. I guess all I can do after this is to just ignore the wordings of these players and enjoy the game -No demand, no supply-
I initially thought that ignoring would be a good idea. Turns out it only makes things worse. I guess I’ll have to do so starting tomorrow. Thanks for your advice!
Ye I whispered you in-game in support of you. The people mad at you are insignficant and just salty they cant get a map when they want to. It's literally called map OWNERSHIP as it's a scarce resource (only 20 channels) - and with any basic understanding of economics, there is competition and, therefore, value to the map. Tl;dr F the haters, get your mesos
If you were using the map to leech and there's really a big demand on it, sell it, that's cool. If you go to Ulu 2 on your lvl 80 warrior NOT TO TRAIN but to FU***** take it and sell it, then pls go **** yourself.

I’ve never seen this before. I also have no say in such an activity. As long as MapleRoyals terms & conditions do not oppose such action, I pretty much am fine with it though; not that I agree with such activity. I, personally, have never done this before.
