Hello, I decided I should give my level 161, unwashed Hero some more HP because I feel it's a bit useless without the ability to tank damage at high-end bosses. After all the things I achieved in this char, creating a new one and washing it isn't worth the time. Spoiler: Old question- please skip I used the popular calculator and arrived at this: Goal is 28K at level 190. Only problem now is I don't exactly understand what to do at each level up. Why do I start MP washing at level 169 and now at level 162? When I MP-wash, do I HP-wash right after or a few levels ahead? By watching videos, I'm familiar with the how, but right now I'm confused as to the when. So, a little walkthrough here would be much appreciated. I used the popular calculator and here's my plan: Right now, I have just 4 base INT, but I'll use 296 APRs all at once to get 300 base INT before leveling to 162. Since: I don't have much time to play, and thus I want to finish HP-washing as quickly as possible, I can get enough APRs. Need 571+296=867. Got 550 right now, and can afford buying the rest. I thought I can give this a shot and get done with HP-washing in just 5 levels. To compensate for the large damage lost (taking out 296 STR for INT), I will use onyx apples and boss my way to level 166. 296 STR is roughly 74 ATT, so an onyx apple should be more than fine. What do you think about this plan? Am I crazy? Would you do things differently?
Mp washing is more efficient when you have more points in int You get 1 MP per 10 Int (10 and 19 int is the Same though) by putting 1 AP into So once you reach 30 INT you get 3 MP per MP wash You can HP wash whenever you want Honestly its pretty late to wash and therefore more expensive then usually for a warrior you could try to tune to goal HP values to a point where you don’t Need MP washing and rather get some more int gear Try to insert a goal of 23750 and raise it till the calculator says you you need to MP wash I can’t give you the exact numbers right now as I don’t have enough time atm to double your washing calculator if you want you can link it here and I’ll check
I'll give this a shot. Instead of waiting for 30 Int from Lv 161 -167, you could use APR to -Str or -Dex point and add them to Int now. In fact, if you are not worried about most cost effective method...you could even bump the int to something higher to get more and cut short the levels required to wash to the HP goal. In my case, i had a char similar to yours in washing late. To make up for lost time, I put more into Int immediately and started to MP wash immediately upon each level up. It's not the most cost effective, but I was late to the HP wash game plus I wanted a higher HP and also MP pool.
Thanks mate. I know I'm late but I still want to go for it, rather than making a new character. I thought about it too, and seeing I'm not the only one that's crazy, I'm gonna do it: Correct me if I'm wrong, but this means I simply have to dump all AP into MP during 163-180, and only at level 180 actually HP-wash all at once?
Actually I didn't really follow the guide due to the urgent late washing. Here's what I did. Immediately -Primary or -Secondary stat and +Int to the desired amount. Example, I wanted fast gains...so I went with 200 base Int. Then I equipped Int gears just before leveling + MW10 for a bit more Int boost. After leveling up, +MP 5 times (5 AP per level up) and immediately use APR to -MP and put back into my Primary or Secondary stat. Also limited to 5 times (5 AP per level up). This allowed me to still play the char somewhat than Leechstory. So essentially, I'm growing my available MP pool since MP washing leaves a little leftover MP that can be used to HP wash later. In your case, probably around level 180. Remember to unlock HP washing by taking out ONE AP point using APR from Primary or Secondary stat to HP if it's grayed out. And once you're done HP washing, use 1 APR to -HP and put it back into Primary or Secondary stat. Plus I decided to continue with wearing Int gear just before leveling till I'm Level 200, just for a little more MP and also possibly get in a few HP washes too later if required.
I thank you for the detailed answer. I'm thinking of using APRs right now the way you described and build up 300 INT on account of STR. This will weaken me greatly but since I'll need it for 5 levels only (up to level 166, instaed of 179), I'm planning on using onyx apples to compensate the damage (1 onyx apple = 400 STR, roughly). 1) What do you think about it? 2) Can I HP-wash at each level? I have 5 level-up AP points, so I mean like: (+MP) x 5, (-MP+STR) x 5, (-STR+HP) x 1, (-MP+HP) x as many time as I can, (-HP+STR) x 1. Will this method work?
1) Most people are either leeching etc while washing. They do use apples/stoppers and most importantly, maple pops/amorian baskets for Accuracy (warriors) for any job advancements. But appling to make up damaged loss to train might be a bit expensive. 2) Not sure if this will work, but it looks cost prohibitive to me. An important thing to note, MP washing is only beneficial when you are already at your desired Int level as per calculator. Otherwise, the gains might be negligible during lower Int levels. Need someone more experienced to check your proposed plan. From what I recall on my char, so long as you have the required Int..you can level up, MP wash and then HP wash (-MP and +HP) until the additional MP pool is exhausted.
