Level: 141 Class: F/P Arch Mage Location: Road of Regret 3 Percent/Hour: 101% This gives 89.9m exp / hour. You need 1080 magic to 1-shot with meteor 30. Even though trainees give 14400 exp and guardians give 18000 exp, RoR3 is slightly worse overall due to worse layout. The map is lopsided, with more platform on the left than the right, making alternating between sides worse. But it's not so lopsided that you can always go left. Also, eyes of time spawn on the bottom and aren't normally killed by meteor, unlike at RoR2, where eyes of time never spawn on the bottom.
That makes sense. I'm sensing a theme that every second of Temple of Time is the more superior training spot than the other 5.
Level(s): 121 Class: Night Lord Location: Nest of a Dead Dragon Percent/Hour: 34.08%/hr (10,682,000 exp/hr) Notes: Solo, no HS.
Level: 167 Class: Bishop Location: Dangerous Sea Gorge II Percent/Hour: 20.6% (75.2m exp) Notes: Solo 1HKO Squids with HS
Level: 145 Class: F/P Arch Mage Location: Ulu City Center Percent/Hour: 68% This gives 76.2m exp / hour. The above rates are based on the video, but adjusted for solo exp. Petris are unsurprisingly worse than qualm monk because I have to 2hko them, but still good because of the great map layout. I'm also more likely to sell leech here and therefore have HS, bringing the exp up to 92.4m exp / hour, which is only slightly worse than RoR2. I suspect that 2hko petris is better than 2hko skeles. I'll record a video next time I'm selling leech there.
Last time I tired Squids, I got a bit less than Ulu Estate II. I'll try that map out again for a more definitive number. It would make sense that two shot Petrifighters is better than two shot Skeles. I find it very odd that bishops that two shot Skeles don't go to Petrifighters instead because of their higher XP rates and less competition. I'm not sure how to spread the word out of this fact, but one can only try their best.
Is it definite that a bish that can 2 shot skeles can 2 shot petris? Especially since skeles are holy weak
@jumgee : No, a bishop can 2 hit skeles (880 magic /@ gen20) way earlier than petris. But when you reach around 1100 magic you can two hit petris as well. I dont mind going petris if the skele maps are full, the exp is about the same (petris is actually a bit better), but the mesos are way better at skeles.
Level: 160 Class: Shadower Location: Ruins of Krexel II (Solo with HS+Bishop in party) Percent/Hour: 23%/Hour (57,600,000 XP) I should add that it costs 70m to bomb Krexel solo (it's only 70m due to the speed bombing principle) and takes ~90 minutes. It's also the easiest way of training as a Shadower; you don't have to pay any attention (you don't get hit if you do it right), you just drop for 180 seconds (put up a coin timer) and bomb, rinse and repeat.
At a certain point, two hitting Petrifighters isn't too hard. They only have 80,000 HP and with Genesis 20 and a decent Elemental Wand 5-8, it's not too bad. I wouldn't say a lot better. A decent White Nisrock can equal out the amount of mesos you get an hour if not give Petrifighters a slight edge over Skeles. One Shot Skele Leech comes a bit closer to that number though
Level: 146 Class: F/P Arch Mage Location: Ulu Estate III Percent/Hour: 63% This give 75.1m exp / hour. You need 1100 magic to 1-shot with meteor 30. Almost as good as petris! If I had HS, this would be 82.6m exp / hour. This makes montrecers the best leech option for 100-104. This is an OK option for I/L solo, who can't train at RoR2 like I can. However, if you can do 62k minimum to kill montrecers, you can 2-shot the 123k hp mobs at RtO2, which might be better. I'd like to test there, but they resist fire.
Level: 103 Class: I/L Mage Location: Mem Lane 2 Percent/Hour: 67% Level: 104 Class: I/L Mage Location: Mem Lane 3 Percent/Hour: 61% Level: 105 Class: I/L Mage Location: Mem Lane 4 Percent/Hour: 72% Not including my mem lane 1 because I was partied with a bucc and speed infusion OP, even for mages. I'll be sure to test montrecers vs. oblivion 2 once I hit 4th job just for the sake of testing, though I won't be putting more than an hour into either one. I'll also get an ulu estate II timing and a himes timing next time I grind (and can find a priest) so we can compare these numbers to the more "normal" spots. These ToT numbers are without HS. I do have an HS mule I could do FM HS with, but solo I didn't consider it worth the hassle.
Thanks for the rates. I think Petrifighters can't be beat when it comes to high level 3rd job I/L training.
If ice strike can hit multiple platforms, then I'm sure thats the case. I'll get a concrete number (with HS) when I go do the ulu quest line in a couple of days.
Ice Strike can hit the platform below you so you'll constantly be hitting 5-6 Petrifighters at a time. Level: 192 Class: Bishop Location: Deep Sea Gorge II Percent/Hour: 3.8%/Hour (53,800,000 XP) Updated
Level: 106 Class: I/L Mage Location: Ulu City Center (petrifighters) Percent/Hour: 108.2% Yeah, pretty unbeatable. I'll go time Ulu 2 just for giggles though. This is without HS, just like my mem lane numbers. Level: 106 Class: I/L Mage Location: Ulu Estate 1 (berserkies and veetrons) Percent/Hour: 68.2% Also without HS. I would be willing to bet that this is better than wolfspiders for an 8x-9x I/L if you're in the last few levels of training up your own HS mule. Obviously if you don't have HS, WS will be better. The map layout is fantastic and the drops are good as well.
Level: 177 Class: Night lord Location: Ruins of Krexel II Percent/hour: 20%/hour Note this is duo with 191 Hero, SE + HS mule and full heartstoppers. Beats training by a good 5-10%/hour (need to re-test now) but time consuming to farm 100 stoppers a day. I just farm while I'm off doing something else- usually roleplaying.
