Hello MapleRoyals! A new party quest just arrived in MapleRoyals in update #70 The party quest consist of 7 stages and is available for a party of 4-6 players that are level 110+! Comes with a really interesting set of rewards! You are required to complete the Ellin Forest Prequest before you can participate in the party quest! @quaxko has beautifully written an In-Depth Ellin Forest Questline so do check it out before challenging this PQ. Head over to Deep Fairy Forest & Gather a party, talk to NPC Ellin to begin! Spoiler Heres the PQ video for our visual learners! ---------- Stage 1 : Mouth of the Forest Spread out and kill all of the Poisoned Lord Tree Head over to the portal on the right and proceed on to the next stage. Monster : Poison Lord Tree ---------- Stage 2 : Deteriorated Forest Rush/Lure the mobs to the middle of the map (above the water) and kill it off The ETC dropped by the mobs can't be picked up, so if you do it correctly, the tree will drop : : Diluted Poison Monster : Poison Golem After collecting x4 Diluted Poison, head towards the right end of the map. Drop the Diluted Poison beside the portal one by one. The vines will disappear and to the next stage. ---------- Stage 3 : Forest of Haze MAP : Forest of Haze This stage is basically a giant maze of portals, split up and find their way towards the NPC Ellin located at bottom right of the map. Once any of the player reaches the NPC, talk to her and the entire party will be able to proceed on to the next stage. ---------- Stage 4 : Poisoned Forest Once you enter this stage, have everyone in the party to talk to the NPC Ellin and select the first option. NPC Ellin will give you x10 : Purification Marble The Purification Marbles will be on your use tab and i recommend dragging them into your keyboard binding. You will be able to catch the monster by hitting the button you have it keybinded on, only after the Poisoned Spright are weakened to around 15% health. Monster : Poisoned Spright After catching the Poisoned Sprights, you will receive a monster marble. The party will be required to collect total of 20 Monster Marbles and give them to NPC Ellin She will then spawn NPC : Sprite After that, click on Sprite to proceed to the next stage. ---------- Stage 5 : Oozing Cave This stage requires you to protect NPC Sprite, and if he dies, you will fail the party quest. The map will spawn a good amount of really tanky monsters. Do not try to kill these monsters and your main goal is to push them away from the NPC. Having a warrior & BM with rush is super convenient in this stage. Other classes such as night lord can use skill such as ninja storm & shadow web to control them on their spot as well. Monster : Primitive Boar ---------- Stage 6 : Forest's Empty Lot Party members will split up into 3 groups, and participate in the JQ Once the climbing party members have reached the top, they must destroy all of the wooden boxes in search of a : Purple Stone of Magic. Once the player obtained Purple Stone of Magic, the player is required to talk to Sprite and you will be transported into the boss stage. ---------- Stage 7 : Forest of Poison Drop the ETC in front of the shrine to summon the Boss. : Purple Stone of Magic. Monster : Poison Golem v1 Monster : Poison Golem v2 Monster Poison Golem v3 This boss overall is pretty easy, rush it to the right and nuke it down! After the PQ you'll get x1 ETC : Altaire Fragment ---------- Crafting : Chao's Tusk drops from Chao Boar : Ephenia's Soul Shard drops from Ephenia Glittering Altaire Earrings Ephenia's Ring
I believe the stats (with the stimulator) is -/+5 ! So think about it before attempting it (20 Altaire ETCs for the v1 Earrings, then another 20 Altaire ETCs to upgrade it to v2 Earrings. [And all the accessories required to make them of course]). But good luck!

Fixed Well, imo if you don’t have a 6 main stats with 2-3+ substats RoA, i recommend you getting this ring!
Can anyone explain how Ellin Crystal is obtained? Also are the small bosses limited to once a day? Thanks EDIT: Bosses are twice a day and the crystal can be obtained by mobs in the area (0.0000001%) or from some exchange quest in ellin
This confused me, so I'm just here to correct it. Chao's Tusk drops from the area boss, Chao, that you gain access to during the questline. Unless it also drops from the Violent Primitive Boars that it summons which I haven't seen thus far. Edit: Original post is fixed. Thank you for coming to my TED Talk.
Any information about Chao and Ephenia boss? I just want to know how many hp, exp, times i can go in, time to summon. Any?
Both are twice a day. Chao: Level: 120 HP: 7,500,000 EXP: 1,856,000 Ephenia: Level: 125 HP: 15,000,000 EXP: 2,560,000
Please add that it is possible (though extreme rare) to get Ellin Crystal from finishing the PQ: Here is proof. I got maybe 2-3 across 3 characters after about 80-100 Ellin PQ runs (About 40-60 each).
Bought from FM I only know 4 monsters you can find them, there may be more (since I have not completed all monster book): Primitive boar in Ellin, Stone bug in Ellin, Eruwater in Neotokyo, Maverick A in Neotokyo.
