Maple Karstan Only Dropped By One Mob?

Seems a bit odd that such a good pole arm is impossible to get before it's outclassed by a Purple Surfboard. Couldn't a few lower lvl mobs drop them?

 

While I do agree that more monsters should drop the Maple Karstan, you can use a Blood/Maple Snowboard in the mean time. They're also normal speed and you can compensate for the accuracy using equips like Zakum Helmet and Sad Masks.

 

That's what I've been using, but the Karstan's so much better

 

They're the same speed, but you can afford to hoard a bunch of 30% Pole Arms and scroll the nice godly Snowboards you find for cheap.
