So, Ephenia's fairies are quite annoying, they are stronger than the regular faireis. I dont mind facing them, it's challenging, but the problem is that they are immune to Inferno and Dragon Breath, thus i need to hurricane them or to like x20 arrow rain them in order to kill them. if it's possible to change it so that those skill (and maybe other classes skills, idk) will affect them. thanks in advance!
They also cannot be displaced with Ninja Storm. I'm not 100% sure but my runs used to be around 5 Minutes - 5:30 per kill when the boss was released and now it's around 3-3:30 per kill, I'm assuming there was some sort of stealth nerf on the bosses overall health? (or maybe I've just got better at dealing with it's mechanics) But with that being said, considering how often it drops 5k NX or Yellow Work Gloves I think this boss is perfectly balanced how it is. (At Least for a Nightlord) Great work whoever had to make the final call on this Boss. (Loot, Time Investment, Summonables are 10/10)
thanks for the reply, for me it takes about 8 mins, and i think it starts to summon faireis after 2 mins i attack, so it's like 5 spawns of faireis. I dont think it has to be nerfed, just to fix that skills issue.
This is how i handle it as a bowman: When mobs spawned, Use Arrow rain hit all of them. Then summon a puppet>> Walk far away>> Then kill all with Arrow Bomb. And its around 5 mins each run. Hope its helpfull xD

I don't know if it's intentional or not, but homing beacon (the corsair skill that makes you hit only 1 certain mob) disappears from the boss every time she teleports. This makes it extremely hard to kill the boss unless you are very high lvl.

I am your job, Ephineas takes me 5 minutes to kill her, although it is true the fairies are very annoying but it is something that takes less than 1 minute to kill them with hurricane. This boss is very generous in dropping nx and it can be entered 2 times a day. I think the minimum requirement is some difficulty. (But in something I agree with you) The Dragon Breath skill It should be a skill which allows you to rush any free-moving boss, but unfortunately it can't do that being a 4th job skill, however the 2nd job skill (Power Knock-Back) can rush these bosses ... I can't understand why they don't make the dragon breath that can rushe any type of free-moving boss and why the Power Knock-Back can?
Thanks for the reply, i dont have any bad word about the boss, i really appreciate the balace they made about it, and like i said, i WANT that difficult. Also, i think that enabling those skills won't really harm that. It's just like the zakum's summons, i mean, it's really annoying but i can use my dragon breath.
I feel maple is a community game and bosses in general are supposed to be completed in a party up to 6. With that fact, even if the fairies are in the way, melee classes in your party would do well in clearing them. Don’t feel that any changes should be made to accommodate people who want to complete bosses solo. (I assume you’re doing solo, else please ignore my nonsense) Edit: on 2nd thought i think it makes sense the skill is consistent for non boss mobs
