Based on these results, the lag seems to be caused by latency of 300~500 at the Best, Avg and Worst columns I will check in with the Dev to see if there's anything that can be done to improve that
Has this ever happened before to any region? lagging caused neither by player or royal's end. if so, what are the interim solutions? because we are seriously suffering in the midst of uncertainty on what can we do right now. risking deaths / dc in boss runs
Yea it can happen when the major network cables are damaged Can't really offer any solutions as the only way to route to another network is by using VPN

It depends how long the affected France server need time to fix, Royals are unable to give estimations on their behalf
Have checked with Dev, can't really do anything about the high latency other than using a VPN to get onto a potential, better route Can only hope the issue will resolve by itself as time passes

Looks like everyone, including me, is consistently facing this issue. @Dave Deviluke , is there really nothing Royals can do at all? God knows when the French will fix their stuff... 1 year? 2 years....? Is there a way to choose a different pipe for Malaysian IPs to connect to the game?

Can only advise the same thing of waiting for the lag to improve, as the lag was probably caused by data loss occurred at 10th and 11th hop of 20+% data loss
I am also facing this issue, from malaysia as well, using Unifi. Lag will start to occur around 7.30 - 8.00 pm local time, until 12.30 am the next day. Using skills, mounting/demounting my battleship is a constant pain.
+2 here, me and my friend were playing, both on unifi, maple royals network lag like shyt, was fine on youtube or even fb videos loads instantly. I started played weeks ago and that time the ping is around 200+ms, which is acceptable since server at the east, but recently the ping is so unstable and I keep get disconnected (kick to login page / maple crashing and popup network error message) from time to time, worst case was every 1~2 minute the mobs stops moving (animating but not moving) then disconnected from server.
exactly !!! 12.30am+ onwards will slowly becomes better. could it be server background processes like a backup or anything ? edit: malaysia time is utc+8, so maybe day time during weekday have extra background processes running in the server that hook up the network? just guessing randomly lol
