As written in the title, can a BM do horntail without washing? If yes, about which lvl can i do ht? If no and if i wash from now, will i ever get to ht? I have a Ranger currently at lvl100 and i never washed it. I was wondering if i should wash it or not, but i'm not sure about the whole hp washing thing, it's quite confusing for me.
To add to the above, you probably need lv180-ish even with HB. Some ways you may consider for more HP: 1. You could still wash few times before your MP reaches the minimum (14 x level + 148). Get some int gears and wear them before levelling to build up a larger MP pool; 2. Look for equip/medal that gives HP bonus. Significant ones include Dojo belt, blackfist cloak, mark of naricain, collector medal and ephenia’s ring; 3. HP quests (Water from the Spring of Youth, one-time thing available at level 70 & Search for the Elixir of Life, level 150 repeatable daily).

HP requirement: 1) 9.8k: You can survive if no stupid accident happens. 2) 7.8k: Can't attack legs. Don't touch wings all the time (be careful when it swings). After mass seduce is activated, use Hero's Will when you're in danger (left arm seduces you to left side or right arm seduces you to right side). If Hero's Will is used, set a 1 min timer, hang on rope before next mass seduce comes.
My BM used to survive HT with only like 7-7.5k (and I did legs too) back in old source, but now you need something like 9.2k or so to tank the leg part (my bm got that HP and can tank)+ wing touch. It's still a bit dangerous at sed though cause if you get hit by 5 rocks you'd need 10k+ hp to survive
