As we all know destroyed park 1 and 2 has gotton nerfed... I can only see that the moderators are unbalancing all mage classes whilst carrying bishops! First petri nerf and now duku? Arch mages are bad at bossing and only have a few maps that can be used to make some mesos in mapleroyals... Bishops are the only mage that can go to bosses and be usefull there... If duku maps are getting nerfed petri should have been restored as it was before last year... This is rediculous... I guess i should make a bishop for skele leech like everyone else in this server!... Bishop meta needs to stop...
Remove bishop's ability to dispel defense buffs so that I can watch Netflix on the side as a single client bishop warriors can be more relevant in bosses such as horntail and Dunas.
Didn't Petri nerf get reverted back to its original spawn rate? And buff the att/def up buffs from bosses to a significant level so warriors become a necessity.
@sparky95 No they did not... As i see it mods are hailing down on leech sellers. Making pots more expensive and nerfing drop rate from ULU 1 and 2 i agree with that... But petri map nerfed spawn rate and nerfing drop rate whilst drops are already low and bad at petri on top of that nerfing duku maps ? IDK where mods get their experiences from... but when you get 300 m mesos in drops alone in a couple of hours at skele maps it is over powered.... I self leeched myself from 108 to 120 it was way more than 300m mesos i gained from mob drops... For a player like me that dislike bossing and party play every update like this is a kick in the private parts...
Buff Destroyed Park 2 and rework the platform into a TC layout. Similar to Ulu2 / MB2 style. A nice and beautiful straight two laned map please, its still not very friendly for TC even after the change of the layout since patch 65.1. The obtainable EXP for DP2 should only be just slightly higher then skele while TC-ing, or else we will be expecting sad cries from our skele leechers that its too OP. Duku = 1360 TMA from Archmage Petri’s will be a bridge for lvl105 to 110. Which takes around 1h45min. #65.1 Funding for mage gears with this 2 classes are similar, 60 more TMA requirement for our archmages why? Genesis 20/30 is simply more expensive then meteor/bliz 30. To make this leechers work at around lvl155-160 approx 6b fundings. Since mage gears will be required for both classes to work and the demand will return! mage gears & elewand 5/7 rejoice! It had been a painful meta for them high level geared archmages but maybe.. Update 71.1 hype? @UrbanJuggernaut @Tim Uhm. No way skele you can get 300m from only drops, Right..? Hardly anyone leeches past 108 at Petri, 105-108 Petri solo is less than 1 hour whilst i sell idk about others. I do not mind the maps of duku. DP2 is horribly designed that is out of the context that i am trying to make As bossers has their NL meta for max damage leechers has Bishop meta. Every arch mage could flood the skele maps and make bishop have a terrible time. Or am i the only 1 that can do skele leech on a fire poison mage?
From old players who already farm enough and roam around forum complaint "muh game too easy farm". At least Auf came out and will keep them im check for awhile before they nerf every farming method while shoot pf RC into 40b ea.
how long does 108 to 120 take you at skele solo 1 hit at the end i had a balance of 500m whilst i started with 40
6 hours of leech is a "couple of hours" for me still it does not change the fact 120 m solo + drops easily 200 m each hour!
That sounds about right! 200mil/h! At anyone reading this, with the current king cent demand. this is probably the most mesos/h map. Go leech.
Not sure about a flat map or map design change. A less linear layout allows more differentiation between leecher skill (like the current skele/ petri rotations vs. Ulu 2). Rather I think we could benefit from increasing the mob density. IIRC Patch 71 took DP2 from ~18-19 Dukus down to 14. With the recent changes neither DP1 or DP2 are even useable maps for any purpose. If spawns are increased, I would also suggest increasing Duku mob HP and exp, while adjusting the mob level to 125 so that it becomes truly an end game worthy arch mage leeching spot, while preventing a relapse of multi-mage 2 hitters with naked 130 arch mages. Something like 110K HP, would require 1000 TMA to 2 hit, and ~1500 to 1 hit. Ideally with skilled leechers, we could then allow for diversity as follows: Petris ~33-34M exp per hour Leecher levels 105-120 Skeles ~37-39M exp per hour, Leecher levels 108-120 Dukus ~42-43M exp per hour, Leecher levels 120+ This of course is just a suggestion that would need to be tested, but it would incentivize people to actually level their characters in addition to getting good gear, rather than just keeping them as low as possible and buying mid scrolled equips. Right now there is no possible benefit to leveling a mage past 150, this would actually reward the few "mage mains" out there going for perfect matk/ int gear Also @Sen should this thread be moved to the feedback section instead?
Duku mob itself in my opinion are fine as they are. I am more annoyed that GM take something again from arch mages kicking the job further into the ground. Before game mods are gonna say that there are other maps that could be used: leafre mobs resist fire weak to ice, TOT big useless maps impossible to hit 2 floors at once and not profitable in anyway or form because level requirement for leechers.... I even tried Ellin and Temple to much hp or are resistant...

@Sen What level are you considering late game for arch mages? And who in their right mind would go to duku to get less spawn. If i was a I/L mage i would go to last TOT room because that is best xp for that particular class. Road of regret is hardly anything good for a F/P mage to level. For a player like me that dislike bossing and party play that loves to leech this server is getting completely ruined. I have a 9 k range 30k HP 190 hero and i never went to HT,toad,auf Ellin content. If the mods could restore petri and duku maps spawn rate wise that would be great... Nerf skele maps drop wise would be amazing.
I actually think the duku nerf benefits the mage class as a whole. The duku meta requires very little investment (other than level 3 mages to lv130 which is really not hard) compare to skele/petri (gear and skillbooks) before the update. The duku meta essentially killed the skele/petri market and the mage gear market. It really discourages the player from levelling mages since the low-level mages give better exp. In addition, trio-duku is still do-able. The total exp gain for 3 way exp split is approximately the same as 2 way exp split skele/petri, for ~ total of 66m exp/hr from my testing. Since the meso:exp ratio is about the same for buyer, the duku seller can still sell at the price of (skele/petrio solo divided by 3).
Well Kenny would you not agree that petri should have a buff when duku gets nerfed. Like said above skele requires less magic as a higher lvl mob than example petri which is a lower level mob than skelegon... For a fire poison mage to 1 hit skeles is close to duku 1 hit. The arch mages compared to bishop is severely unbalanced and should be balanced. And i know I/L can solo bosses even zakum if you have 2 hours to burn with chain lightning...
I agree that trio duku as it was made skele/petri leeching obsolete. However as it stands the issues you mention are still present, notably players are discouraged from leveling mages given it reduces leecher exp, and relative low investment requirement for gear/skillbooks. Honestly, I think making a "low level" petris leecher is easier than making a good trio duku leecher set (i.e. 13x bishop + 2 130 mages) Mage gear market is fundamentally different from all other gears as it is fueled by two elements: 1) Int for HP Washing 2) Mid tier gear to achieve minimum 1 hit TMA thresholds. There is very little market for well scrolled magician (not-common) gear, and I would estimate that creating a 14x-15x petris leecher costs less than 5B in gear. Skillbook costs are also negligible for mages. There is no incentive for someone to really level their mage or to scroll / buy end game int gear rather than novelty. This is what my suggestion was hoping to solve by creating a higher barrier, higher reward area for players that still aligns with the class identity of the mages.
if people want a quick buck they level a mage 150 + and bad int gear that is true but my personal gear is hardly mid tier i ensure that before duku trio became a real hit by people skele leech was the meta and now it is even more the meta to leech sellers thats how i come back to bishop being meta...
