Zakum on MAC? Need Suggestions

Okay well I read about the problems of bossing on a MAC and how Maplestory isn't made to run on a MAC and the client is more unstable.. so I'm looking for a work around. Any suggestions would be great. If you've had success please share.

I'm thinking of installing Parallels Desktop has anyone had success with this? Ty.

 

Parallels should work.

 

parallels or running bootcamp will both work fine.

Unfortunately those are the only workarounds.

 

I use parallels9 solely for Zak runs. in comparison to how Mac client runs with everything else in game; I prefer mac client. much smoother, but parallels will guarantee D/C survival for you in Zak forsure. just remember to GFX.

 

Hey I've never had to "GFX" can you explain what this is?

 

GFX means changing your picture quality (graphics) in the settings in-game at major bosses like Zakum regularly (before the next body spawns). This prevents d/cing for some.

 

Can I just set my graphics to the lowest in the beginning instead of changing it before the next body spawns?

 

This does the trick for some, but normally, changing it is required.
