The best option you got is to pm one of them politely, asking them to make space. I've asked people a few times and they were willing to make space.
That is my point, we shouldn't have to ask people to move, who are just taking up space! There is no reason for them to be doing this!
All part of the nostalgia, unfortunately. Spot holding and space wasters were common back then and they're common here too. Just a part of Maple life.
If they purposefully do that, then I think they deserved to be closed. However, there are sometimes where it may be accidental and I think asking them to move their shop a little bit is okay.
People are free to do whatever they want with their merchant space. Everyone on top of the FM door platform has the option to either share it or hog it- it's the same here. It's courteous to share it so everyone can get a spot too, but you don't have to. The only time a shop is closed by a GM is when the shop title is offensive/deragatory, when two shops are overlapped and both can't be opened, or when it glitches and d/cs people upon entering. Other than that, we won't interfere.
Agreed with Sila and Michael...Even though I told this player in game he's greedy I still think they can setup shop however they like. Closing shops for something like this would be more pathetic than setting shops up like this IMO.
So you're telling me that you could just have my store closed that time i named it "hitler" and instead you banned me? OT: I always take 2-3 spaces then i give them to my guilddies.
^ No, in that cases shops are closed and the player is banned. I didnt say it was an either or option.
