I believe that many players have experienced bugged NX equips during a trade, and we frequently see bug reports of janus swords or flower crowns not being able to drop / trade. I find that this a very tedious process that adds more unnecessary workload to the Staff and huge inconvenience to our players, as it requires an Admin to verify, delete the item, then an active GM to refund the item, which typically takes weeks if not months. I tried to replicate the bug and found that: Test Scenario 1: When trading NX equip to another player with full equip inventory = no bug Spoiler: Retrade successful Test Scenario 2: When trading NX equip to another player with full use inventory= bug Spoiler: Purple musical note bugged after testing Test Scenario 3: When trading NX equip and making payment to another player with full mesos = bug Spoiler: Holiday tree ring bugged after testing Hopefully with the root cause known, there could be a fix to this long standing bug.
It's just something that happens with NX once in awhile because NX are not meant to be tradable and the system will get confused For the verification and refunding, is usually at server checks (about once per few weeks) Although the above-tested scenarios can be valid, it's entirely possible for a user with empty inventory to purchase 4 x APRs, and somehow 2 of them gets bugged - nobody knows what triggers the bug
Hi Dave, thanks for your prompt response. I agree that APR tend to get buggy for reasons we still do not know, however I believe that’s a separate category altogether. While I cannot confirm that only the above 2 scenarios will trigger the NX bug, I can confirm that these 2 scenarios will result in a 100% guaranteed bug with no exceptions at all. If anyone experienced the above classic nx bug for reasons other than full use inventory & mesos, it would be helpful if you could share that here. I am still hopeful that this finding is a starting point and there is a solution to this!
