I have a buddy whom I go Krex with daily. He goes Krex just to collect this Bacal card, and I go with him just to taunt Bacal for higher card drop rate. With patch 71 the bug where Bacal card is not recorded to monster book has been fixed, and we started going Krex again, pretty much every day. However, the drop rate for this card seems to be too low, as we have only seen just one card after all the Krex we went so far post patch 71. Considering we only have 8 Bacals appearing per day, I think drop rate for this card deserves a buff. Jr.Luinel is the only other card that drops from boss-spawned mob iirc, but Eliza is a field boss and Jr.Luinel is spawned way more than bacal does. So I would like to suggest a buff in drop rate for Bacal card. Hope to see this happen so I can fill it up in my book as well!
This topic was discussed within Staff, and we have decided to keep this card with it's current low droprate so that it remains one of the more difficult cards to obtain, and for it to be viewed as more of a 'flex' card to have in your collection.
I don't know what's so "flex" about spending possibly weeks to months trying to complete a card set. What's "flex" is being able to complete the entirety of the monster book, not a card that has such a bad drop rate that it requires you to possibly set up a taunt/steal mule just to make it more worthwhile to obtain...
I think having it remain a low drop rate is a good thing as this would be more of a trophy collection, such as mobs like D.Roy or male boss, kinda adds a nice atmosphere to it. And this shouldn’t even be in your first 400 card collection at all, and if you’re looking for a complete book set, i think you would be the very very few who actually have all the cards tbh
