Monster Card Collection - Any cards you've given up on?

I managed to complete Phantom Tree just by sheer luck of running into a card 5 times while hunting all the other phantom forest monsters.

Best place to grind them would probably be cc'ing in one of the Crossroads map, since besides running into Headless Horseman you can often find 3 of them on the bottom. Definitely not recommended going for however, unless you've managed to pick up 4 cards already by chance previously.

I was at 399 sets and got only the harder bosses left (after skipping the aforementioned mosnters). Pretty frustrated, I read this thread again, and even though I did read your post in the past, I never took the time to actually read all of it.

This tip on Pepes really saved me a lot of time, got 5 cards within 10 minutes!

All of it wouldnt be a problem if some monsters spawn rate will be fixed...
Back at the old days Dark Yeti & pepe, Lycanthrope, Werewolfs, Dark Jr. Yeti, Dark Yeti, and many many mobs spawn rates werent as low as they are at mapleroyals which is low for no reason... monsters like Taurospear and Tauromacis didnt have 1 min spawn cooldown, they were regular monsters..
I posted a few month ago at the feedback section a post, hope you can can suppot me there and we will change the spawn rate

I got my Fairy/Fierry cards on Victoria Island at The Entrance to Golem's Temple. Even though the fairies here are called Fairy 4, they still drop the Fairy 1 card. There are 3 Fairys on this map which spawn once some of the other monsters have been killed, one on the low grass platform in front of the doors to Golem's Temple I and II and the other two on the platform where the door to Golem's Temple III is. After killing all three, I would immediately CC, then rinse and repeat. You can also do this at Golem's Temple 3 if you have all your Golem cards and want work on your Dark Stone Golem set, but there is only one Fairy in this map (again on the lower platform where the two non-portal doors are). I ended up finishing both my Golem and Dark Stone Golem set before I finished my Fairy set.

You can see that the Fairy here is called Fairy 4


But you can still get a monster card from it


The card pick-up message only calls the card a Fairy Card, it doesn't specify a number.

 

This fairy thing and jr boogie was updated recently. Previously only the number 1 drops.

 

I figured - good to know I had just seen more older posts reading that you could only get the Fairy card in Orbis than those saying you could find them on Victoria Island

I gave up on bacal.

Killed 80 krex so far and only gt 1.
Last week i would have gotten my 2nd one but as i killed the minion my pt member jumped and looted the card.

hey could u tell me where to get overlord card? i try to collect them at the first map of neo tokyo but none drop . mayb i was not lucky

Its drop quite little so u need abit patient to collect full set, also i think use bishop/archmage is good for hitting them cause they keep fly around

As I wrote I was only able to get 2 cards from them. I got them on the first map. Recommend giving up this set... good luck!

Try not to get sets from the monsters I skipped (maybe except for 20-25 monsters I didn't have access to).
If as a mage I had a hard time getting them then maybe you better avoid them.

 

For those who completed Alishar, how many runs did it take you? Does it have the same drop rate as field bosses?

I did 12 runs and only got 1 card so far. I had some dry runs with field bosses before, so I guess it's not totally unexpected, but man it's infuriating.
