This quest was primarily introduced into MapleRoyals to give a late game option for gaining more MaxHP. It is an effective substitute for traditional hp-washing methods for ranged attacker classes (see: Efficiency Calculation). It works best for unwashed or lightly washed characters at high levels to reach specific boss thresholds. - This questline is not currently accessible for mages - You need to be level 120+ and have completed the 4th job advancement Spoiler - Papulatus prequest for the Ellin Forest quests is also essentially mandatory, otherwise your quest progression will be walled once given one of these quests - For the beginner class there is no 4th job advancement requisite - Completing this quest will result in obtaining either 1-2 20 MaxHP potions or 3-5 10 MaxHP potions at random, average reward being 35 MaxHP - This quest can be repeated infinitely and thus can be used to reach 30k hp on any non-mage character (however doing so would take years in most cases) - The quest can be picked up once per day and you do not have to complete it during the same day (completing it on a following day will still allow you to pick up another) - You can repeat the quest infinitely without the daily cooldown if your character's health is below a set threshold (9500- for most ranged attackers). See specifics: Spoiler This quote is from the Patch 72 Update patchnotes. " Now, they will be infinitely repeatable (no daily cap) until the point where the user has enough base HP to reach at least 9500 base HP by level 175. This means that the quest takes the HP you still have left to gain by the levelling up to 175, and washing out the excess MP you currently have, into account. Concretely, all you have to do is visit Reuel, and accept his quests. When the quests switch over from being limitless to becoming once-per-day, you know that you will have at least 9500 HP by level 175 (or more, depending on your class). These are the thresholds for different classes: Hero: 17983 Dark Knight / Paladin: 17658 Bowmaster / Marksman: 9500 Night Lord / Shadower: 9500 Corsair: 9995 Buccaneer: 14945 Beginner: 6143 " Also please note that the quest will keep track of the quest reward maxHP-potions in your inventory, so you cannot keep the quest infinite by not using them - The order of the 30 quests is randomised when all 30 quests have been completed and skipping a day or forfeiting will just give the same quest the following day - Extra quest items cannot be picked up, nor do they continue dropping past the required amount - The quest items will only drop from players completing that specific quest, you cannot use other characters to farm for the items (unless they’ve the same exact quest) Reuel’s Introduction Once you reach level 120 on any non-mage character, a lightbulb will appear above your character’s head to signify you can start the quest. Head on over to Magatia Zenumist Research Instritute 2nd Floor Hallway to meet Reuel. The stone archways inside the Institute act as gates between the hallways. Spoiler The thirty quests Once you pick up a quest from Reuel, you will access one of the thirty possible pre-determined quests. Each of them takes around 20-30 minutes to complete and will give 20-50 MaxHP for your character. Having a fast travel ticket active is highly recommended for most of these. The drop rates on the items are high, the monsters are quite weak and all of the areas are close to each other. Only the white birks drop the horns though, the dark ones do not. The North Minar Forest quest [Golden Apple, Small Bug, Morning Dew] Recommended farming locations Spoiler I have added a small reference here for finding the Beetle Forest and the Peach Monkey Forest hidden entrances. Spoiler Estimated farming time: * Dual beetle: 2 minutes Dark rash: 2 minutes Hankie: 4 minutes Total: 8 minutes (+travel) Notes: All the mobs are located very near to each other and farming times are fast, so overall this is one of the faster quests. Minar Forest: East Border works as an alternative to Beetle Forest too, but in my opinion it is more annoying to farm due to constant elevation changes. The East Minar Forest quest [Tangerines, Blood Tailfeather, Redcurrants] Recommended farming locations Spoiler Estimated farming time: * Beetle: 3 minutes Blood harp: 4 minutes Red kentaurus: 3 minutes Total: 10 minutes (+travel) Notes: A very straightforward quest. Clear the east side mobs, nearest town scroll back to Leafre and take the left route to red kentaurus. The South Minar Forest quest [Frost Crystal, Sacred Feathers, Cornian's Horn] Recommended farming locations Spoiler The cornian tomb can be accessed by jumping into the pit at the bottom right corner of Dragon Forest I. Spoiler Estimated farming time: * Blue kentaurus: 2 minutes Harp: 4 minutes Green cornian: 6 minutes Total: 12 minutes (+travel) Notes: The cornian map is hidden and has a few alternatives, in my opinion Hidden Dragon Tomb II has the best spawns, but it's mostly a matter of preferrence. Sky Nest II and Entrance to Sky Nest are also good alternatives for the harps. The West Minar Forest quest [Rash Twig, Hobi Tooth, Dragon Turtle Scales] Recommended farming locations Spoiler Estimated farming time: * Rash: 4 minutes Hobi: 3 minutes Dragon turtle: 2 minutes Total: 9 minutes (+travel) Notes: A very straightforward quest with all of the areas close to each other, overall one of the faster ones. Both of the dragon turtles drop the scales. The Dragon Forest quest [Proto Spores, Dark Cornian Tail, Eternium Crystal] Recommended farming location for green mushroom Spoiler The green mushroom tree can be accessed from the top right corner of The Forest South of Ellinia. Recommended farming location for dark cornian Spoiler The cornian tomb can be accessed by jumping into the pit at the bottom right corner of Dragon Forest I. Recommended farming location for blue wyvern Spoiler Blue Wyvern’s Nest can be accessed by pressing up at the top right corner of Canyon: East Road. Estimated farming time: * Green mushroom: 3 minutes Dark cornian: 5 minutes Blue wyvern: 3 minutes Total: 11 minutes (+travel) Notes: The ideal map locations for this quest are hidden, so refer to the images provided above if you are having difficulty finding them. I recommend using the NPC Karcasa to reach Ellinia quickly by heading right from Ariant. Leafre is accessible from the portal at The Field Up North of Ellinia. The Temple of Time quest [Tid Dandelion, Divine Clover, Mysterious Jar] Recommended farming locations Spoiler Estimated farming time: * Memory monk: 4 minutes Birk(s): 8 minutes Homonculus: 4 minutes Total: 16 minutes (+travel) Notes: Please note that you need to have spoken to the Temple Keeper in Temple of Time to have access to Memory Lane 1. Both of the birks drop the divine clovers, so Forest: Crossroad also works for this quest, however I find Valley of the Antelope better for farming since you can just change channels to get to the top. Taking the right side path from Leafre is a faster route to the map. The homunculus map is accessed from the left side of Reuel. The Central Dragon Canyon quest [Mysterious Sand, Red Grapes, Wyvern Soul] Recommended farming locations Spoiler Estimated farming time: * Eye of time: 4 minutes Dual birk: 9 minutes Dark wyvern: 4 minutes Total: 17 minutes (+travel) Notes: Please note that you need to have spoken to the Temple Keeper in Temple of Time to have access to Memory Lane 1. Memory Lane 1 has a convenient teleport at the middle pillar taking you to the top of the map, speeding up farming. Dual birk farming takes most of the time here, changing channels helps, placing you to the top. The North Dragon Canyon quest [Leaf of Instinct, Skelegon Jawbone, Genesis Skull] Recommended farming locations Spoiler Estimated farming time: * Jr. Newtie: 5 minutes Skelegon: 4 minutes Skelosaurus: 2-4 minutes Total: 9 minutes (+travel) Notes: The leaves only drop from the non-transforming newties, ones that turn into nest golems never drop it. I found it best to farm the Destroyed Dragon Nest middle platform over and over as it has 3 newties and only 1 transforming newtie. The skelegons and skelosauruses can be hunted on the same map (The Dragon Nest Left Behind) until you get the genesis skull, at which point you can move to Nest of a Dead Dragon (one map left) for more skelegons specifically. Overall this is a straight forward quests to complete as you can hunt for two of the items at the same time and travelling distances are short. The South Dragon Canyon quest [Leafy Pouch, Wyvern Flame, Bundle of Grass] Recommended farming locations Spoiler The Red Wyvern's Nest is hidden, so I have added a small reference here for finding it. Spoiler Estimated farming time: * Rexton: 3 minutes Red wyvern: 2 minutes Nest golem: 6 minutes Total: 11 minutes (+travel) Notes: For the nest golems Peak of the Big Nest works better than Dangerous Dragon Nest since the terrain is easier to navigate and the Jr. Newties won't knock you off ladders constantly. The transforming Jr. Newties count as a different mob, so despite the transformed mob looking the same, it will never drop the quest items. - 2 Ludus Lake - The Clocktower quest [Ghastly Residue, Time Lost Liquid, Heart of the Ocean] Recommended farming locations Spoiler Estimated farming time: * Spirit viking: 4 minutes Phantom watch: 5 minutes Bone fish: 2 minutes Total: 11 minutes (+travel) Notes: Both the spirit viking and phantom watch maps have teleporters to the top of the map to speed up farming. For spirit vikings it's on a little platform above the bottom middle point and for the phantom watch it's on a yellow platform at bottom right corner. The Deep Clocktower quest [Forsaken Soul, Ectoplasm, Temporal Leash] Recommended farming location for gigantic spirit viking Spoiler The gigantic spirit viking map can be accessed from the top left corner of the normal viking map (Warped Path of Time 4) Recommended farming location for grim phantom watch Spoiler The grim phantom watch map can be accessed from this platform near the bottom middle section of the normal phantom watch map (Forgotten Path of Time 4) Recommended farming location for gatekeeper Spoiler Estimated farming time: * Gigantic spirit viking: 4 minutes Grim phantom watch: 5 minutes Gatekeeper: 2 minutes Total: 11 minutes (+travel) Notes: Gigantic spirit viking and grim phantom watch maps are hidden, so I have provided instructions above on how to find these. When farming for the gigantic spirit vikings you can change channels at the bottom of the map to warp back to the top to speed up farming or just use the teleport points introduced in patch #71. For gigantic spirit vikings the teleport point is at bottom right of the map and for Grim phantom watches it is at bottom middle. The Ellin Forest quest [Flower Bud, Mud Clump, Dead Moss] Recommended farming locations Spoiler Estimated farming time: * Tree rod: 3 minutes Stone bug: 2 minutes Mossy mushroom: 2 minutes Total: 7 minutes (+travel) Notes: Accessing Ellin Forest requires for you to have completed the Papulatus prequest, so if you have not, this quest will wall your progression. The tree rod map has convenient teleport points taking you in a cycle around the map, so that there is no actual need to climb the vines here (the first one is just right of the NPC on the map). The mossy mushroom map has one at the roots of the middle tree taking you to the top of the map. The stone bug map has a teleporter on a grassy platform near the bottom left, so you still need to climb a bit if you go to the very bottom. The Deep Ellin Forest quest [Primitive Boar Tail, Fairy Perfume, Tulip] Recommended farming locations Spoiler Estimated farming time: * Primitive boar: 3 minutes Ancient fairy: 4 minutes Shining fairy: 4 minutes Total: 10 minutes (+travel) Notes: Accessing Ellin Forest requires for you to have completed the Papulatus prequest, so if you have not, this quest will wall your progression. The map outside the boar cave also works if you have good AoE or movement skills. Farming the fairies will overlap each other. Fairy Forest 1 has a convenient teleporter from the bottom to the top to make farming easier. Overall this one is quite straight forward. The Aqua Road quest [Squid Tentacle, Flyeye, Thanatos' Horn] Recommended farming locations Spoiler Estimated farming time: * Squid(s): 5 minutes Flyeye: 3 minutes Thanatos: 2 minutes Total: 10 minutes (+travel) Notes: Both of the squids drop the tentacles and both Dangerous Sea Gorge I and II are valid farming maps. The Flyeye map is located right before the Pianus bossmap and can be accessed from The Grave of a Wrecked Ship (sharks map). The Deep Aqua Road quest [Beast Fur, Bottle of Frigid Water, Fish Skin] Recommended farming locations Spoiler Estimated farming time: * Lycanthrope: 4 minutes Cold shark: 6 minutes Goby: 3 minutes Total: 13 minutes (+travel) Notes: The cold sharks and gobies can be farmed on the same map, giving progression on both, but in case cold sharks are finished first, move to Deep Sea Gorge II (top left portal) to finish the gobies. Finding the lycanthropes is very luck based, so it can occassionally take much longer if you're unlucky, but keep changing channels in Wolf Territory IV instead of waiting for them to respawn. This is overall one of the longest quests. The El Nath quest [Lilac, Werewolf Heart, Sea Foam] Recommended farming locations Spoiler The lucida map is hidden behind a mushroom statue in Zipangu, I have provided a small reference here for finding it. Spoiler Estimated farming time: * Lucida: 3 minutes Shark: 6 minutes Werewolf: 4 minutes Total: 13 minutes (+travel) Notes: You can cut travel time here by using the World Tour NPC in El Nath and hunting for the lucidas in Zipangu, it is faster to access than travelling to the Stairway to the Sky II map near Orbis. When farming for the werewolves, it is not worth it to wait for them to respawn, just change channels for more spawns (luckily the werewolf heart droprate is quite high). The sharks take a while to farm and dispell you, so try to avoid aggroing them without knocking them out. - 3 World Tour - The Zipangu quest [Snake Meat, Essence of Rage, Purple Lifeblood] Recommended farming locations Spoiler The map with the nintos is on the way to Castellan Toad and in case you are unfamiliar with the route through the corridors I have added a small guide here. Reference the yellow dot on the minimaps to see where my character is. The teleporters on the ground level activate when you walk into them (steps 4 and 6). At step 8, you re-enter the portal you came in from to advance. Spoiler Estimated farming time: * Python: 2 minutes Bain: 3 minutes Ninto: 3 minutes Total: 8 minutes (+travel) Notes: This quest is all contained in the World Tour, so locations are easy to reach. When farming for the pythons, the small monkey statue at the bottom can be used to warp back to the top. The bain map is located in the Showa town hideout behind the female boss map. When farming nintos, avoid stepping into this spot not to get warped out of the map (standing on the box is still fine, just not on the ground): Spoiler The Showa Town quest [Cologne, Stolen Locket, Red Slime Bubble] Recommended farming locations Spoiler In Lushan town, you can enter the town well at the left edge of the town for a shortcut to the mountainside maps (and after entering, press up again to get taken further on). To enter the Showa town bath house, talk to Hikari in Showa. The Secret Spa maps are behind a secret entrance referenced here. Spoiler Estimated farming time: * Male burglar: 12 minutes (together with female burglar) Female burglar: 12 minutes (together with male burglar) Red slime: 3 minutes Total: 15 minutes (+travel) Notes: Both of the burglar mobs appear in similar quantities on Mountain Road 2, so it is best to farm them together. The previous mountainside map also features these mobs, but is a bit more difficult to move around in. The red slimes can be found through the Showa town Spa in gender specific Spa maps, the Spa vendor can also be used for teleport drinks to Showa town and back. The North Lushan quest [Eagle Tailfeather, Incense Sticks, Study Notes] Recommended farming locations Spoiler In Lushan town, you can enter the town well at the left edge of the town for a shortcut to the mountainside maps (and after entering take the left side portal to reach the giant eagle map). For extra D, you need to talk to Konpei in Showa town to reach the hideout. Spoiler Estimated farming time: * Giant eagle: 6 minutes Incense burner demon: 8 minutes Extra D: 2 minutes Total: 16 minutes (+travel) Notes: This quest is all contained in World Tour so reaching the maps is fast, but farming the first two mobs takes a while. The South Lushan quest [Dirty Cloth, Ancient Honey, Harvestbells] Recommended farming locations Spoiler The map with the jonins is on the way to Castellan Toad and in case you are unfamiliar with the route through the corridors I have added a small guide here. Reference the yellow dot on the minimaps to see where my character is. The teleporters on the ground level activate when you walk into them (steps 4 and 6). Spoiler Estimated farming time: * Jonin: 4 minutes Black bear: 7 minutes (together with white tiger) White tiger: 5 minutes (together with black bear) Total: 11 minutes (+travel) Notes: This quest is all contained in the World Tour, so locations are easy to reach. The ideal map for black bears and white tigers is the same map, so the farming time is combined. When farming jonins, avoid stepping into this spot not to get warped out of the map (standing on the box is still fine, just not on the ground): Spoiler The Shaolin Temple quest [Rose of Death and Decay, Heart of Nature, Gold Plated Pearl] Recommended farming locations Spoiler You can reach the Shaolin Temple maps faster by entering the town well at the left side of Lushan, immediately pressing up at the Mountainside map to get moved further and entering the ledge above the bottom right side portal of the map. I have included picture references here. Spoiler Estimated farming time: * Dreamy ghost: 4 minutes Temple block monster: 4 minutes Giant golden monk: 8 minutes Total: 16 minutes (+travel) Notes: When hunting the dreamy ghost, you can occassionally run into a boss encounter, just change channels in case that happens. The giant golden monks take most of the time here with their high hp. A straight forward quest. - 4 Masteria - The New Leaf City quest [Ancient Amber, Leeching Slug, Typhon Egg] Recommended farming locations Spoiler Estimated farming time: * Wolf spider: 3 minutes Glutton ghoul: 2 minutes Baby typhon: 3 minutes Total: 8 minutes (+travel) Notes: The typhon eggs only drop from baby typhons, however it is still necessary to kill the adult typhons to allow for the baby typhons to spawn. The baby typhons only spawn at 4 locations across the map, near the 3 pillars resembling nests. The Crimsonwood Mountain quest [Elderwraith Hand, Red Soul Dust, Nightshadow Fang] Recommended farming locations Spoiler The elder wraith map is hidden behind a signpost at the top of Forgotten Path, which you can reach by using the stone archways twice starting from Swamp Bog (assuming you have the Forest map). If you're unaware of where the nightshadow room is located inside the keep, I have added a small reference as well. Spoiler Estimated farming time: * Elder wraith: 4 minutes Crimson guardian: 2 minutes Nightshadow: 4 minutes Total: 10 minutes (+travel) Notes: The elder wraith map spawns Bigfoot as well, so be careful if you have less than 12k maxHP. In case you do see him, simply change channels. There is also an additional room for crimson guardians inside the keep, but I personally prefer the keep entrance map, just be sure to carry around all cure potions for the skill lock they use. The Crimsonwood Keep quest [Wind Scroll, Mystical Fire, Ancient Tome] Recommended farming locations Spoiler If you're unaware of where these rooms are located inside the keep, I have added a small guide here. Spoiler Estimated farming time: * Windraider: 4 minutes Firebrand: 4 minutes Stormbreaker: 4 minutes Total: 12 minutes (+travel) Notes: Farming inside of the keep is easier in my personal opinion, but there is also an argument for using the Crimsonwood Mountain maps for this quest. The rooms inside the keep spawn purely the mobs in question though. For firebrands, only the first form drops the quest items, the flame form does not. - 5 Singapore - The Ulu City quest [Aster, Tree Log, Giant Seed] Recommended farming locations Spoiler Estimated farming time: * Gallopera: 4 minutes Berserkie: 4 minutes Montrecer: 2 minutes Total: 10 minutes (+travel) Notes: For the berserkie map there is a convenient teleporter in the middle, but some climbing is still necessary. When hunting for montrecers, focus on one at a time, these can stun lock you for a really long time if you give them the chance. The Deep Ulu City quest [Slygie Meat, Razor Vine, Harvester Seed] Recommended farming locations Spoiler Estimated farming time: * Slydgie: 4 minutes Petrifighter: 9 minutes Duku: 6 minutes Total: 19 minutes (+travel) Notes: The droprate on the razor vines is quite low, so farming petris takes most of the time here. For hunting duku, Destroyed park I also works. One of the longest quests. The Boat Quay Town quest [Sack of 'Gold' Coins, Mysterious Black Liquid, Soul Marble] Recommended farming locations Spoiler I have added a small guide here for helping you pass past the Ghost Ship maps to reach Mr. Anchor at Ghost Ship 6. Spoiler Estimated farming time: * Vikerola: 3 minutes Veetron: 5 minutes Mr. Anchor: 2 minutes Total: 10 minutes (+travel) Notes: All of these mobs are in the Singapore area and the farming times are low, so overall this is one of the easier quests. For veetrons it's a choice between Ulu Estate 1 or 2, I prefer 2 for less climbing. - 6 Misc - The Sharenian quest [Kargo Blood, Crystalized Poison, Life Force] Recommended farming locations Spoiler Estimated farming time: * Wild kargo: 3 minutes Commander skeleton: 2 minutes Officer skeleton: 2 minutes Total: 7 minutes (+travel) Notes: Travelling takes most of the time for this quest, so try to minimise it by taking the VIP cab in Ellinia to reach the kargo area faster. The skeleton mobs appear together in both their maps so farming time will overlap. For officer skeletons the hidden tower map Camp 3 can also be used (accessed by entering the tower in Tomb IV), but in my opinion it is slow to farm due to excessive climbing. The Mu Lung quest [Curious Liquid, Golden Peach, Alligator Skin] Recommended farming locations Spoiler The saitie map is hidden, so I have provided a small reference here for finding it. Enter the right side Magatia lab and head down until you find the secret entrance location. Spoiler Estimated farming time: * Saitie: 2 minutes Peach monkey: 2 minutes Mr. Alli: 2 minutes Total: 6 minutes (+travel) Notes: This quest has the fastest farming times across the board, the only time investment being in travelling to Mu Lung. The saitie map has an NPC resembling the mobs on the right side, don't be confused as to why that one can't be targetted. Finding the one golden peach can be a bit RNG-dependant too. * The estimated farming times listed here are averages I get doing these quests on my lv200 Bowmaster without any of my attack gear included (gloves, cape, shoes). I will also keep updating these figures if I notice changes. Efficiency Calculation The following rewards are possible: 3x 10 MaxHP 4x 10 MaxHP 5x 10 MaxHP 1x 20 MaxHP 2x 20 MaxHP ---> on average you gain 35 hp / quest Each of the quests takes about 25 minutes to complete. ---> on average you gain 84 hp / hour This is about 9-10 APR worth of hp for most attacker classes (sans warrior, bucc) assuming a 12-15k hp wash goal (with higher goals washing becomes more efficient). ---> on average you gain about 100 million mesos worth of hp / hour in the best case scenario (thieves, archers, corsairs) Considering the common farming methods total around 100m+ / hour, farming for APRs and using the traditional hp washing method is quite similar to this. The difference is in being limited to 1 quest per day after the hp treshold. However for warriors and buccs traditional APR washing is much more effective. With an example of an unwashed 6k hp character, reaching 30k hp would take 600 days or almost 2 years of completing this quest daily. You would have to spend about 250 hours of farming and travelling to complete the quests. Conclusions This quest is similar to traditional hp washing for effectiveness, unless you play warriors or buccs. The main drawback is the time it takes for the quest to cool down (once per day). However using this quest to obtain significant amounts of hp takes a notably long time to accomplish. As of Patch 72, using this to reach 9500+ hp on unwashed characters is recommended if you do not have any current base INT, since the quests can be repeated without cooldown. Having the same exact quest on another character can be used for farming the etcs, so technically you could set up specific quest farming mules. As mages are excluded from these quests, high level corsairs with aerial strike ability might be the ideal candidates (these are quite rare to have though). Just the mules themselves could not complete the quest, or the quest on them would be rotated. I really hope they increase the HP gain. This is way too inefficient, just simply ridiculous. You gain +20HP in the best case, and in 100days you get ~1300 HP averagely. For spending 100hours of your life time on this. That just sucks.
It would be nice if those hp earning rates are put into each of the MapleRoyals quests, so it becomes more fun and inclusive to do them all! It is only an opinion that I would like the Royals team will take it into account
Forsaken soul from Gigantic spirit viking had approx ~50% drop rate - Kill all mobs from top to bottom, change channel and you'll be teleported back to top, no need to go from bottom to top. Ectoplasm from Grim Phantom Watch had approx ~25-30% drop rate - This one took the longest due to low # of mobs in each platform, changing channel doesn't bring you to the top. total time it took for me ~15min
The problem currently is that the new quest rewards are not consistent. When I did the new deep ludi dungeon quest on the 2nd day of the patch, it showed tonic of creation in the NPC dialogue window, but still rewarded me with a chaos elixir. And now we got this in last night's patchnotes: "Reuel's new Elixir of Life quests will correctly reward the same item shown in the NPC dialogue." Now I am not sure which one of them is the intended reward for the quest and it'll likely take me a week before I can get that quest to show up again. So I'd appreciate to know the reward for this quest if anyone got this today or after today.
The two new quests have been added to the guide (I'll add the ideal farming locations later this week for these two, however they're fairly obvious). Also added estimated farming times for all the mobs involved. The update resulted in a slight increase in average hp gained from Reuel's quests. Thanks everyone who provided additional information! I added you to Credits as well
The guide has been finished for now as the game finally gave me the Dragon canyon quest. Im sorry it took a week. I added the map guides and farming times for the new quests and the notes on these have been expanded. You should particularly note that the Leaf of Instinct items are only dropped by non-transforming newties.
Okay, there was an update to the Elixir of Life quests today, 1st of all it's now accessible at lv120. 2nd of all, the droprates have definedly been increased. I got the NLC quest today and my farming times went from 8min to 4min (wolf spider), 7min to 5min (glutton ghoul) and 10min to 7min (baby typhon). It's not enough data to draw too many conclusions yet, but looks like a +50% increase in droprates across the board. I'll update the farmtime figures when I feel confident enough in them, but the level has been corrected ofc. You seeing better droprates too? However I got this when returning the quest. I really hope it'll work tomorrow =) EDIT: It's now the following day and still the same message. I even forfeitted and did another quest, no progress. Looks like Elixir of Life is out of commission for now =(
Not only does the quest work again, but it seems Reuel doesnt remove the extra quest items not related to that particular quest from your inventory.. meaning i'll have free quest completions in the future. Still monitoring on the new droprates. Today Ulu drops went from: slydgie 5min to 4min, petri 12min to 9min and duku 9min to 5min
Great guide! perhaps your equipment is stronger or level is higher, I find the farming times much longer than written here. I would say 1.5x to 2x longer. All in all very informative, looks like we can start to farm more hp this patch!
Thanks! I do my hp quests on an old lv200 BM im trying to fix =) Just got a chaos elixir from the ToT quest with a mystery box reward icon. This means I need to keep record of the rewards for weeks to figure out the true droprates of these. If you want to keep record too, that would be helpful =)
got tonic of creation from ludi quest shouldnt it be chaos elixir ? or they changed it during this patch
