    Can you stand in the same exact spot as the 'SuperGM" is?

    Tbh I never realized this. I always thought it was just light peaking through holes of the caves super fast or something, but I suppose a more static light effect makes more sense.

    Apologies about that, I thought the JMS version of CWK cave have totally different layout but I found one with the same exact layout (only different decoration) so I decided to use a map editor to remove all the backgrounds except the cave light and here

    This is GMS one, with no BG elements other than the cave light


    This is the JMS one, ditto


    The reason this happened is because someone placed the background file on the animated section and they didn't really bother to fix it

    No idea why the JMS one doesn't have any animation, as they use the same files and data for the map assets.

    I always just thought that the esoteric forces of the Versal Masters in Crimsonwood Keep was causing the caves on Crimson Mountain to have that rave going

    Here's a minor fact for you guys, the differences between GMS Malaysia and MSEA Malaysia map-

    In Royals, there is quite an empty spot near Audrey :

    In MSEA, the same exact spot, note the out of place warning sign :

    Another spot in Royals, mostly empty :

    Here's the same exact spot in MSEA, replaced with a hair saloon building and the post box moved on the roof of the building for whatever reason :

    In Royals, the Free Market gate was moved slightly to cover the building :

    In MSEA, a Maple TV was used to cover up said building, but since MSEA removed Maple TV for good, they just kinda left it like this :

    In Royals, there's nothing of interest here :

    In MSEA, there is a portal that leads you back to Boat Quay Town, so we had to walk to Malaysia in MSEA :

And in the revamped Explorer storyline, your fellow Explorer NPC, Sugar, Tess, Olivia, Rondo and you spells out STORY? (even though "you" in the story had a name, actually, which is Kao, so this whole thing would spell out MAPLES STORK. Also, it's the very same Tess and Kao from Ellin Forest too, by the way, with Kao being you.)

    The framework that the explorer does is to go back in time to the past when doing the Arkariun quests where you have to save: Mercedes, Aran and Afrien's Egg Afrien was Freud's dragon (Freud dies saving Mercedes) Afrien gives you an egg from her hatchling so that you can put it in a safe place and be found by someone in the future.

    After that a farmer named Evan finds a dragon egg and begins the adventure remembering who Freud was.:3

    In the background of Neo Tokyo's 2102: Akihabara Ruins there's a poster of a girl.

    This girl is one of the characters in the MapleStory anime back in 2007 called Nina who is a powerful mage.

    And behind Nina in that poster, you see a partial body part of Gallus, leader of the Warriors as can be seen by the blue gem in the center of the chest.

    As for the little white horn poking under the blue gem of Gallus in the poster, I believe it's the horn of Anji the Thief Kargo

    In fact, Kino the Orange Mushroom pet in the RP section is also an orange mushroom character in the anime! I can only assume the poster in game has Kino in the bottom right where the little yellow-orange spot is.

    Been thinking about this awhile so I'm gonna share it with you guys-

    Are Wild Kargo in Maplestory just a different subspecies of cats? Are kittens in Maplestory just a baby wild Kargo?

    According to this official licensed Maplestory manhwa, this Wild Cat looks identical to Wild Kargo (and they even have a bit of relation to Balrog in a way and are on the same level range) and the Wild Cat offspring looks identical to the Kitten pets, so does this makes Wild Kargo a cat then?
