The balance being... stronger Slow Spears? Something Reverse/Timeless would be able to solve as they are slow spears that could compete better against Normal spears. Again, if a lvl 64 spear is the best weapon you can farm, then that makes for trash progression. I'm sure new players have any idea about anniversary events and know what to do. Yea I'm damn certain new players wanna stay a whole year too waiting for the next event sure Also there's the big fat issue of polearms being NPC fodder.
You can farm mesos and buy a sky ski. its not even expensive, in fact its cheaper than most classes' end game weapon. DKs have it better than other classes. GMs are even babysitting dks right now by restricting buffs to other classes in order to keep dks relevant Also, i dont understand what you are trying to say. Are you asking for high levelled spears with normal att speed or higher lvled spears with slow att spd? If you are asking for high lvled spears with normal att spd, i already answered that with farming mesos for a sky ski if you are asking for higher lvled spears with slow att spd, dragon faltizan works perfectly well.
Lets be realistic here, the server has gotten stalemate for quite some time. Here's my take as well: 1.Recycled Events (Especially Anniversary lol) 2.The DK Gang Issue (DK not being able to be flexible with their weapon choices, limited ability to bossing in late game due to berserk, why is Timeless/Reverse not a thing really makes me wonder) 3.Most of the classes are not newbie friendly if you plan to participate in Bossing area (Except for warrior), required HP wash like what the post said. 4.CWK eq poorly made, why the hell are the majority of the Raven's weapon series locked behind gacha? 5.No content for veteran, repetitive, boring, i mean it, its f-ing boring lmfao
enlighten me on dk's inability to boss due to berserk sorry im not a dk what bosses are dks not able to do that other classes can due to berserk?
There is some misconception here, by "limited" i mean the disadvantage you put yourself at while playing as a DrK. 1.Auf haven deals 15k damage so basically that means if you try to trigger berserk, you'll die most likely, DrK doesnt have any protective skills like other classes i will explain @ 2 2.NL/Shad have dummy/smokescreen which helps with survivability, if all are decently geared, lets say full party with 30k hp washed, they can deal damage cosistently without worrying much. 3.Buccaneer have iframe skills to time auf haven attack pretty easily. 4.Without berserk=you lose damage=not beneficial for the run.
Doesn't Achilles reduce 30% income dmg for drks? Just asking since I've never play a mele at all on my mapler career lol but I'm pretty sure I read it anywhere.
15% is vanilla 20% for Drks But Paladins and Heroes they also get power guard which is an additional 30% reduction while not needing to play at 50% HP. So the survival difference between Drks and the other Warriors is absolutely huge. In fact, every other class if washed enough (especially NLs and Shads) are much more survivable than Drks in the very late game
yes but dk's dps output is higher, and people want dks in parties for their hb you dont see any horntail parties looking for heroes
They are still one of the best classes to multiclient with. Public, sure demand of heros are low, yet in end game static parties, hero are still in demand as a primary attacker to pair with example BS or NL. Simply this gap makes drk looks, cute. Drk did get stronger yes, but heros didn’t get any weaker.
Yes DrK have Achilles 20%, compare to Hero and Pala, the other 2 have Power Guard as addition. On the other hand, DrK has HB, but then again HP washing happens in late game, so the demand is relatively low i would say, of course some raid party that does not wash their hp would still love to have HB. This is also one of the reason why i think PB boss got hold back. DrK is one of the reason, in terms of class mechanic, as well as PB mechanic.
I mean there isn't anything worse than being gatekept from content and there's nothing you can do about it. Sure NLs and others need to wash a lot. But at least it's possible. But there's literally nothing that can be done for the richest proest Drk to be able to Zerk at a boss that does more than 15k damage.
I mean, if the staff is really concerned about Drk being viable in Pink Bean, all they need to do is move part of the Berserk damage output to Crusher & Fury. Just have Berserk also give scaling to Crusher/Fury while still having the requirement to Zerk to reach full damage. This would help make Drks not suck as hard in Auf/PB since the Devs are unable to implement a scaling Berzerk mechanic. Only issues would be: Too much scaling put into one skill (arguably) Veterans would argue that Drks would be too easy to play as bad Zerk players aren't punished as hard anymore Early 4th for Drks is even better than Heroes/Paladins
