about a year ago iv played another private pre bb server and of course i wanted a zhelm because its a crucial piece of gear that you must obtain , so i went into the jump quest (there was no other option) after 6 hours with no breaks even using youtube guieds i just gave up and quit the game some people are just not good at it. i promissed myself i would never suffer this way again... maplestory supposed to be fun.. not long ago i started playing mapleroyals and i was so happy to see that you made an alternative to the jump quest but there are issus with it.. the monsters are too high lvl i cant even hit them.. and the etc is untradeable how am i supposed to do the quest ? im currently stuck at lvl 50 and cant progress in the game because i need that zhelm for hp wash.. what can i do ? please help and make some adjustments to the alt quest thanks.
Hi, it looks like you find yourself in an extraordinary situation. The monsters involved are not much tougher than the monsters involved in the regular quest, but the items they drop are untradable in order to ensure that players don’t simply purchase the items required and thus have a fast-track to Eyes of Fire. Unfortunately we will not be making changes to this quest with regards to the monsters involved, for thematic and developmental reasons. Might I suggest a green bandana scrolled with INT in the meantime?
i dont think its fair that some players can finish the jump quest in 20min and i cant even after 6 hours strait if u are forcing players to hp wash then zhelm is a must have item at lvl 50 and cant rely on the players jumping skills you made this quest to alt the jump quest but its impossible to do it so whats the point .. if the quest is for lvl 50 then it should be adjusted to lvl 50 ?
I found a really good guide that breaks down the timing, and when you're supposed to jump. I've used it back in the day, and I always recommend it for those who are struggling to time their jumps! Maybe this might help you: Spoiler part 1 part 2

do you know if i manage to get help from a friend in the same party those untradeable items will drop or not ?
The alt quest took about 25 hours for a low levelled char ~60. Gave up in between and continuted at 90. I think you can use int green bandana first until you're strong enough to hit.
