You have been permanently banned for RWT. Spoiler: Major Infractions: RWT Punishment: Permanent ban. Real World Trading - The act of exploiting the software or the game for any sort of commercial purpose, including buying or selling items, Mesos, or services for real-world currency or barter. Additionally, any and all solicitation, advertisement, or other promotion of the aforementioned, irrespective of the location of the act. Appendix: Real World Trading (RWT) - Real World Trading involves the transaction of out-of-game services, items, or currency for in-game benefits. We understand that some players are interested in other activities, such as arts, crafts, or Twitch Streaming, and may wish to compensate those who assist them from either side with in-game benefits. However, this does place a player in a situation where they may be considered to have participated in real-world trading, at the discretion of Staff. We advise against any and all of these sorts of Meso-for-art trades. Furthermore, the act of soliciting real-world trading does qualify as an infraction of this rule, both in-game and out of the game, and therefore requesting any in-game item for real-world currencies or vice versa may result in consequences as per this rule at the discretion of Staff. For live streaming or similar content, the content creator should ensure they do not offer in-game items or services in exchange for followers, subscribers, donations, or anything else that may constitute real-world benefits. If a content creator wishes to give away items or Mesos, this must be done fairly to all viewers and not specifically for followers, subscribers, or donators. Additionally, content creators must not incentivize following, subscribing, or donating by rewarding such acts with in-game benefits. Can you please explain the origin of the onyx apples in your inventory?
Just to be clear, is this ban due to suspicion of RWT? Or confirmed RWT? In any case, may I know what I have RWT-ed? 16b mesos in my inventory are mostly from sale of WS from gacha and sale of apples from apq (Almost daily for the majority of a year). NX accumulated from bossing and voting almost daily for a year since I started playing. Had no chars which require major washing (A washed hero and a semi washed bs of 7k+hp). Oh and if this ban is due to the 2b 400m trade with SkFishs yesterday, I lent him 2b a few weeks ago to buy a perf dagger. He returned the sum covering taxes, including my split from neo tokyo bossing drop proceeds. You may check the trade logs or with him personally to verify this. Regarding the origin of the large amount of apples in my inventory, this stack has been accumulating since valentines event and I've been waiting for apple prices to rise 9m< before selling them.
Thanks for your quick reply too Dasha! I apq on VinJeezus and VinTemplar as they're the only characters I own that are married.
I'm forwarding this information to the admins so they can verify your claims! Sorry for the inconvenience.
This is disappointing. I believe my account would be one of the most straightforward cases the admins will get and it still takes this long (I've been dealt the equivalent of a 1 day ban). There already isn't any notable items of worth on any of my characters (Lower end of the luck spectrum on gacha and scrolling) and I've promptly provided detailed justifications for the suspicious trade, as well as the mesos and apples in my possession (My friend has already reached out to the admins yesterday regarding the suspicious transaction mentioned above). Is it that unbelievable to obtain average gears, 16b mesos and that amount of apples (Apq being my main source of income as explained) in a year's worth of gameplay? As I've noticed, a ban from a trigger event (in my case I suspect its the 2b trade) would typically be followed up by admins dissecting the account for any other suspicious items during the appeal, and I totally get it. However, if it takes this long to complete an investigation for someone with the worst luck thus far, I dread the day I get lucky. How does this question serve to justify my accumulation of apples? It's like asking a serial bank robber how much he's able to rob per bank on average. The suspect's answer does not matter. The investigator/investigation team will ultimately deduce a reasonable daily average and compare it with the apq records. Do not appreciate receiving a patronizing reply and having my case sat on.
The ban appeal process is far from perfect but it's in place so permanent bans can be reevaluated and lifted in case they are wrongfully assigned. I sympathize with your frustration but I would ask you to be patient as you might be underestimating how long it would take to verify one year's worth of data within the game logs.
Thanks for the quick reply again Dasha! I admit to being overly impatient because of ongoing events (Need to participate in order to get lucky) and its the weekends where I have more time to play. However, am particularly concerned about the time taken and for my future gaming experience with Royals. Not that I do not appreciate a thorough investigation (I think its absolutely necessary case by case), but I would like to argue that it's unnecessary in this case. This whole ban ensued due to the trigger event (Again, I suspect its because of the 2b trade), but after it has been cleared the ban should have been lifted immediately. Benefit of the doubt should be given to players once the trigger event has been proven to be a mistake and the rest of the inventory deemed reasonable. It is widely known that apq is one of the main income generating sources and it should not be considered suspicious to come across players hoarding apples. To put it into perspective, lets say I'll be playing for another 5 years, the next ban (Whatever the trigger event may be, could be something as trivial as uttering vulgarities ingame resulting in a day or 2 ban) I come across I'd be questioned on wealth accumulation again (I would imagine I'd still be hoarding apples as its imo the most consistent way of income generation but you'd expect me to have far better items/equipments by then) and the admins will have to sieve through 6 years worth of records to verify my claims. That will take what, a couple of weeks to sort out the ban appeal whilst the account remains banned? It doesn't make sense and it negatively affects the gaming experience. (Am having the impression now that if any long time player gets hit with any kind of ban, its simpler to just quit than to go through this whole process. Please change my mind) Am not trying to come down hard on the admins and staff simply because my account is now banned and I can't play. But this is actually one of my primary concerns and one of the main factors affecting long term commitment to the game. I believe I was banned due to suspected RWT and once the trigger event has been resolved, it should be immediately unbanned. Further investigation can be conducted separately (Maybe pm the player personally for more details and the ban hammer then be applied if the player is unresponsive), but the account should not remain banned. Please take the time to reconsider points stated above.
I am sorry for the inconvenience and the negative emotion caused by your ban, as well as the appeal process. Your impatience is a valid response to a very frustrating situation, however, I won't be going against our practice and making an exception by unbanning you before your claims can be verified within the game logs.
There's no need to apologize Dasha, my responses are not directed at yourself but at the appeal process in general. I'm not simply seeking for a one-off exception as it'll not solve the crux of the issue. Am trying to highlight the inefficiencies in the current methodology employed for the ban/appeal process. Till today, there has not been any further requests for more information nor has there been any negative findings revealed. So its pretty safe to assume the admin(s) are still chest deep in a year worth of logs without coming across hard evidence of RWT. This is already day 4 of the investigation, therefore I've been dealt the equivalent of a 4 day ban (Note that first offence for minor infraction is a 3 day ban). I've effectively served punishment of sorts based off suspicions. Will say no more (except to respond to any requests for information regarding the investigation) until proven innocent as any comments I make at this point merely invites mockery and have been viewed as an attempt to manipulate the staff. Lets see how long this process will take.
what triggered your ban was the sudden increase of large amounts of onyx apples for sale which is a popular item for RWTers. We've investigated that you obtained and have been saving them mainly from the valentine event onwards with your daily double APQs and have unbanned you. We're always trying to improve our detection and ban appeal process however they can still take longer than we all would like unfortunately, sorry for the inconvenience!
