Update on Soul Arrow

Im not against benefitting other classes.

Im against the idea of soul arrow needing arrows to begin with. It doesnt even feel nostalgic.

Yes doing what i mentioned is a stone's throw away from pot shops with arrows. I dont mind that. But as I mentioned before, the usage of inventory slots was a factor in considering the pros and cons of this "buff"

 

I understand that. I like this server a lot and I am just trying to protect whatever bm population we have left. I dont think that is too much to ask for.

I didnt like comparing either. But the update was mirrored based off NL's skill so I had no choice but to show the pros and cons by comparing to NLs

 

May i see said inventory to better understand this perspective

1) Soul arrow consumes mp for unlimited arrows for a set duration. If the character holds arrows in quiver/inventory, soul arrow will consume 200 arrows to effect the wa boost of the arrows.

2) Soul Arrow as it is now

In essence, the buff is if u want a 10wa boost, u hold arrows.

I actually know 3 of them, like VC and their actual names. The community is small, so I'm aware of who a lot of the others are.

Yes I noted that already and replied to him.

He said it was not possible to have the buff continue if the character had not enough arrows without giving them the wa boost.

Which led to our discussion of why we needed to touch soul arrow in the first place instead of just giving archers a flat 10wa buff. The only takeaway from touching soul arrow in the first place is casual bms who never held any arrows ever are unhappy. Couldnt they have just increased the stack of arrows? Was it really necessary to accomplish what this update intended to using this method?

I dont knw why archers were even given a buff in the first place. But now that it has come to this, I just wanted an explanation of why a buff in GM's definition meant taking away something from us, a huge QOL perk aka not having to carry arrows.

The purpose of this thread is to work something out which could accomodate casual players like us as well. I am not asking for the update to be reverted as that would not be fair to BMs who boss regularly and want the boost in wa

none of my friends who played bm and left were stopper farmers. I myself have never farmed stoppers as well.

We were just a bunch of people who enjoyed the nostalgic feeling of hurricaning and messing around.

Did you read the posts from yesterday... if you read them, you'd know the posts were far from shallow? Also, putting up a poll on forums is quite similar to likes on a post after all, because it's clicking a button to support an idea.

I'll admit, I knew posting those screencaps was immature and probably not going to be received well, but Saledor was quite literally saying, out of his ass, that he clearly had more support than he really does and it's pretty apparent this isn't the case.
