As you all know , Marksman's Starfe got buffed from 100% to 125% , so I was wondering how close it puts MM in comparison to BM under endgame conditions : Spoiler: fun facts According to the results BM is stil stronger than MM by like 10% under endgame conditions , however , the lower the quality of the gear / attack pot gets the smaller the gap gets due to snipe being more effective ! Yeah you can , it doesn't deal high damage and I believe it's the best spot for sair although I didn't test it !
In endgame conditions it looks like BM is slightly stronger because the MM's snipe skill that is meant to close the dpm/dps gap is rendered less useful. With that kind of damage output, some strafes even did more dmg than snipe itself. At that point, you might as well just compare Strafe (assuming you also have SI) vs. Hurricane which in turn leads to 500% (125% * 4 hits/second) vs 600% (100% *6 hits/second) and it doesn't factor in that having 6 hits has more critical hit opportunities than 4 hits. Or at least that's what I got from my observation. P.S. that is some godly damage despite the chocolate gelt :O

Still marksman is better because they got wonderful skills for mobs. You can never get bored of marksman
I suggest to entirely remove Snipe's Cooldown and rebalance it so it doesn't overpowers BM's dmg output, while also they are able to no longer rely on Strafe. But I don't think people will agree with me so a more reasonable scenario is reducing snipe cooldown from 5sec > 4sec and reduce its startup and ending lag so it shoots and ends sooner.
