Hello, prior to update v.73 one was able to use a nearest town Scroll inside the Wulin Yaoseng, known as Shao, Boss map Eastern China: Secret Library and get warped to Eastern China: Lushan Town. This is no longer possible and I’m fine with it as it now fits other boss maps. My request would be to no longer classify the Map Eastern China: Mahavira Hall as a town, because it doesn’t seem to be a one in comparison to other towns in the game. So using a nearest town Scroll after the boss battle from Eastern China: Shaolin Temple Floor 7 or Eastern China: Mahavira Hall itself will warp you to Eastern China: Lushan Town. On top of that I request if the timer of the boss battle runs out to be warped to Eastern China: Shaolin Temple Floor 7 rather than Eastern China: Mahavira Hall. You know... I understand why the change was made, but also using town scroll in the boss map to go back to Lushan was so sweet
100% agree on this. A town is somewhere that has vendor/weapon NPCs and a FM portal / etc and I'm pretty sure Mahavira Hall has none of these NPCs / portals to interact with, just quest NPCs with lame dialogue. I remember when using a near town scroll in CWK would warp you to Haunted House, now it's in NLC. Please revert this
I understand the rationale of your proposal but I think shaolin temple (少林寺) is a living place for monks after all. It could also be annoying if return scroll warp you to town when doing shao per quest too
Thanks for your input! Shao Pre-Quest is done once per character while fighting Shaolin is a daily thing so I don’t really see that argument + I personally never used Return Scrolls during that Pre-Quest. As for the living space argument I’ll take it even though I don’t see much going on there compared to other towns. If you stick to the town situation this is still a thing to consider. Why would one be kicked out of a temple for winning a fair battle against a Shaolin Monk. This was previously discussed in Staff and I am just delivering the verdict here. Although the previous quirk made it possible to warp to Lushan Town virtually for free, we don't believe this change is warranted for the sake of speeding up travel times and "dailies". We believe that travelling the Maple World is part of the experience, and that there already is an easy route of transportation back to Lushan Town nearby.
