    I did attack with normal attacks. I wonder why I didn't get one then...

    Have you been missing on the King Slime? Try and party with another person and see if that will solve your present drought.

    I had the same problem like you @mystercool . But partying with someone else helped me to get a present again. A couple of minutes ago I tried to attack it without being in a party but used a weapon with accuracy on it plus accuracy potions and I also got a present. By the way, I've played with a lukless mage.
