How to ride boat to orbis?

I've tried...

~boat, ship, orbis, orbisboat, orbisship, takeboat, takeship, sail, fuckingboat, etc.

(I also tried ~gm but no one was on.)

I realize I may have posted this in the wrong place as it's not really technical... Someone can move to "help and advice". Sorry.

There was no boat. She just punted me to orbis.

 

Oh you wanted to actually get on the boat. I'm not sure if you can.

 

Currently, you cannot. However, I think I see the boat arriving at port in the near future...

 

Ah ok. I saw someone had a chief Stan hat and the only way I know of to get that is to do the quest to get the book on the boat (if I have my quests correct).

 

Indeed. A GM brought them onto the boat so they can finish the quest. If a GM is online and if they are available to help and if they have the time to help (they need to stay with you while you are on the boat), then you can be warped to the boat to finish that part of the quest.

However, like I said, don't worry too much as I hear that ship horn blaring and it's getting louder and louder...

You can ride the boat to Orbis now.

I went on it and it was nostalgic and very awesome... for about 2 minutes. Then I got impatient and thought "why the hell didn't I just pay the 25k meso?"

 

I call it time to go put some laundry in.

Yes you can still ride the boat! I myself rode it a few weeks ago. The animation is bugged so you won't see it arrive though. I heard the sound still works and you can always check with the launching person every few minutes or so to see if the ship has arrived. That's what I did ^^ Good Luck!
