Hi, I think this bug has been there for a very long time, which your character stucked in a random party, and it occurs randomly. In my auf run today, my bishop (was not in any party before going in) got bugged and cannot join/leave the party to ress my teamate. It just ruined the run. This bug can be very detrimental to boss runs that requires add/kick members, especially we are expecting 30-man raid bosses like PB in the future. Please consider of fixing it.
Would like to know the position of staff (devs) on this bug in particular. That is, if it's been deemed impossible to fix or just not worth it, or it's of interest to be fixed but somewhere in the developer queue.
Assuming others have this party bug, I'd assume the developers would absolutely want this fixed but I think this is more of a bug report rather than a feedback. Giving some surrounding information might help assist with patching it. Could you provide some details like: What client are you using, 800x600 or 1024x768? Did you kill any bosses before starting your Auf expedition? (I've noticed one of my clients crashes with no error message after I kill NMM and exit to Kamuna)
I forgot to take a screenshot back then and logged off to reset the party bug. But I remember that the bugged party was a HT party from very long time ago. And it seems that the occurance of this bug is everyone in that previous party are online. It happens quite alot of times to me before. Not sure what causes it to happen though. Anyway I'm using the 1024x768 client.
It has happened to me a lot of times and I always check before entering, relog, once or twice, I arm and disarm the party, this is how it is corrected, the issue is to be more attentive, byeeee !!
This is absolutely a high priority item for us, but as of yet we are not aware of reliable ways to replicate it. I think player feedback is essential, so I agree with user Nerd that players coming together and sharing their experience with this in a concise and thoughtful way could be a starting point. As such, I have changed the thread prefix to Major.
This bug exist so long~~~~~~~~ Mostly happened when your old teammate online at same channel, Ur party will become old one , not the current one I am not sure how this happens 100% , but sometimes in boss met too, and F buffs U can see the Hp bar is empty also...the party client all is gray(means not in same map)?
