    Hi admin,

I'm a returning player, and I tried to log into my account but it comes up with message saying that the account has been blocked due to too many invalid pin authentication attempts?
So I went to control panel in attempt to update my pin but it does not allow me to sign in.

Weird thing is I can sign into the forum using the same credentials....even after changing my password via the royals page (and entering code emailed to my email as two step authentification) control panel is still saying that my password is wrong...

I'm a bit confused on what my next steps should be...any ideas?

    Cheers

Do note that the login + password of the game account are not linked to forum accounts and they can be different

Do double check your password upon resetting as well

    I see.
well I'm pretty certain my password to the game is correct.
If by the off chance i remembered it wrongly, I put change password via email in the control panel. Shouldn't i get an email sent to me confirming that change?

I just tried that and im not getting an email confirmation for my request to change via control panel ...any suggestions?

    Cheers

    Hello Dave,

I did a bit of research and think i may know why I'm not getting those confirmation emails from control panel.

This is a thread posted some time ago...could it be that my email is an outlook email so I'm not receiving the change password confirmation mail from control panel?

"We have looked into the issue as to why some people are not receiving their confirmation emails and discovered that this appears to be related to Microsoft's spam filter. We are attempting to resolve this issue with Microsoft, but in the meanwhile:

Please do not use Hotmail, Outlook or Live mail addresses when registering for a forum account. For now, please use Gmail, Yahoo, or any other non-Microsoft email address.

If you have already tried to register using a Hotmail, Outlook or Live mail email address and have not recieved your confirmation email, please sign up for a Gmail or Yahoo account. Change the email address associated with your forum account to the Gmail or Yahoo address, then choose the option (at the top of the forum page) to have your confirmation email sent to you at your new email address.

Please accept our apologies for the inconvenience."

The email address is case sensitive

Supposed if you are still unable to receive it despite checking junk/spam mail, please submit a manual request

I don't think this is related as there are many players registering forum accounts with hotmail/outlook

Thanks for the prompt response Dave.
Yea I think i might have to do the manual request because i tried several case sensitive variations of my email and I'm still not getting a notification from control panel...

    Cheers.

    Hi Dave,
I did as you suggested to post a manual request but no one has replied in 4 days.
Just wondering how long does it usually takes for manual requests to be reviewed?
And is there anything I can do to assist and speed up the process?

    cheers.

It's difficult to give an estimation as it can be 2 to 3 days or 2 to 3 weeks, depending on the ticket volume and also details provided

Can only recommend you to wait for the Admin's reply

Thanks for the fast reply Dave.
There’s nothing you can do to help me manually reset?
Best option is just be patient and wait you reckon?

    cheers.
