Hello, as I'm sure you all know, in the recent server freeze and reset, Love slime kills were not saved for yesterday. That is 6 slime kills that if you went to all of them (like I did), and were pretty much just wasted efforts if your only interest is the coveted +3 stats & +1 att Ring. Simply shrugging your shoulders and saying "oh well" is not a very responsible way to handle this, so I have taken the liberty of posting a few suggestions. Fellow Royalers can make suggestions as well. Here are a few suggestions that would ease the pain of the recent slime kill losses: Have Slime boss spawn every 2 hours for today only, to make up for the loss. ( a con to this being more chances to get the ring in general, and more chances for items that aren't the ring) Bump the slime kill requirement for the ring down to 25, or even better yet, 20. Those are pretty much the only ideas I myself have at the time, I really hope you guys take this into consideration. Thank you for your time!
bumping it to 27 should be fair for all. I haven't checked if mine got rolled back though? You sure they got rolled back even for players that safely logged off? Maybe the server can check if you did slime once before the rollback, if you did, it will add 3 slime kills to your total.
I was safely logged out way before the freeze even happened (I logged out after the 6th slime to sleep for like 2.5 hours), so it's definitely not that. It shouldn't be discounted, as I'm sure there are others who have gone to as many slimes as they possibly can.
Doing the slimes still gives you a chance at getting the ring by luck, in fact it's quite likely that before you even hit the 30 limit that you may already received a ring. Players cannot receive more than 1 ring per character (maybe some people didn't know this). We added the 30 limit as a help for those who are unlucky enough not to get the ring within 30 tries. And it is highly likely that most active will still easily reach 30 kills before the end of the event on the 2nd of March. And even after getting the ring at 30 tries I wouldn't doubt that players will continue doing the slimes anyway for some of the other rewards. I would think if the slimekills rollback was for more than a couple of days, or further than a day on into the slimekills logging that we would provide compensation then.
If this keeps happening, nobody will. And it doesn't get much more active that I when it comes to the slime bosses (ask my guild lol) The chairs are quite common, and with all the people using mules to get extra presents, the chairs are even more common. You can already see it in the FM, and it's going to get to the point where if somebody wants a chair, they'll just shell out 10m (my estimated value of future chairs) instead of going to a boss that's every 4 hours, only to get 100 power elixir clones 3 times in a row, or a "my BF/GF" CS item for the 2nd or 3rd time. Also, it seems that only my mule gets items that are actually slightly worth while, and never my main.
It was not intentional for this to happen obviously, and like I said, if it happens further on into the even there will be some sort of compensation.
Fair enough I guess. I'm almost certain that I won't get the ring before the 30 days, luck doesn't run in my family XD I barely got my nose from that last event.
There's roughly going to be another 120 slimes spawning between now and the end of the event, all you need to do is kill 30 of them.
Of course it wasn't, you guys work hard to get the server to run the best it can. But even if something isn't intentional, it would still be a sign of good faith for even a little something to help ease the loss a tad bit. Yeah, if you don't sleep XD It still takes 5 days to get the ring for sure, if you don't skip any slimes. That's still quite a bit. I'm the kind of person who just wants to get stuff out of the way, so I don't have to worry about it later. I gave up sleep ever since the event started, was hoping the last kills were going to count towards the counter. I don't mind as much that the previous ones didn't count, as there was (or at least I'm pretty sure) no way to tell how many one went to before they added the counter. In the future, I feel like we should lean away from scheduled boss spawns and maybe go back to the drawing board. I know we don't want to rehash the snowman thing with the snow and just replace it with candy or whatever, that would just be lazy
That's 5 days of no sleep vs a 25 whole days minimum for the previous event. Where they've already stated in the previous event's compensation that this was implented for people who really try to get the event item but have really bad rng. I personally don't see a problem, you need to kill 1-2 slimes a day to get it. If you want the ring, you either have to be lucky or dedicated.
No, it's the person's fault for not sleeping. I'm sorry but this is absolutely absurd to say you don't sleep just to kill slimes for an item in a GAME!
With all due respect, that was worded awfully rudely John. By your logic, I'm sure all people who get hooked on things (be it a game or otherwise) are all 100% to blame for absolutely everything, right? And I never said that I never slept, just decreased the amount of how much I really should be sleeping.
I completely disagree with you. The GM's didn't have to add the free ring @ 30 slime kill option, therefore you should be thankfull that it's there, and not complaining about the fact that it went wrong after only 1 day. Also you still had the chance of getting the ring from the slime 6 times, which makes them the opposite of waste efforts. But in case this might happen again, i do have an other option. Besides the present you get from this boss, you could also add another ETC which can stack up and is untradeble. Instead of cody making the count, you could turn 30 of this ETC in for a ring (by cody or gaga. Like with Opongo, after you get the item you won't be able to re-stack and get another ring.
I'm not saying that I'm ungrateful for the 30 days thing, they did it for the nose as well and It's a good thing they did. And I usually have bad luck at RNG things in MS, that's why I said it was a wasted effort, I also know that I'm not the only person who has bad luck with RNG events on here. Now this looks better than a counter, I like this. +1
