The problem with his is apparently you can't hoard presents anymore. If you have one in your inventory when it's being killed you can't recieve another. This was never an issue with the Snowman when it got changed to automatically rewarding a present instead of dropping hundreds of them on the ground.

 

And since I can't edit my post I might as well double post. I'm not sure how often the "counter" updates, but it should be once you hand in a present. It still says 0/30.

 

Even though i participated in killing Lovestruck King Slimes for 4-5 times after the kill counter is introduced. Cody still says that I've only killed 1/30. The kill counter doesnt go up. And i do not have any other extra present in my inventory.

 

The Romantic Presents were purpose-created to be untradeable and one of a kind so that people - in theory, lol! - wouldn't be able to dupe them. Unfortunately, people found a way anyway, and we'll need to apply the fix we used here to any similar/future boss-gives-one-present-each events.

 

People were joining parties with their characters and leaving the computer on with maple overnight for people with different timezones to kill slime with their character's in the party in order to gain presents for free while they slept.

So making them unique patched this exploit.

 

No, that's not an exploit and people still do it. The exploit was to leave/invite (before? during? idk) multiple times, and get a present for each time you did this.

 

It probably would be in Matt's eyes since he doesn't know why people would want to stack them. And getting free kills when you're not at the computer.. is that really fair? hehe

 

I cannot see any reason why my computer would be dcing whenever i tele to amoria, and yet, it still happens. I have come to the conclusion that this is going to be one of those items that I just wont be able to get which is rather annoying.

 

Try doing a complete reinstall of the game. Despite updating my .wz files individually twice, I was still having this issue, but a full reinstall solved it for me.

 

I did yesterday, I'll try it again.

 

Petite rose and sweet heart gives the exact same stats, is that intended?

 

That's just how they were when I found them in the data, yes! =) Changing their stats or creating an item with new stats would have meant extra .wz edits.

No, people can no longer get multiple presents by doing this. The only person on the entire server who had multiple Romantic Presents in their inventory has now been permanently banned, as they were evading a previous permanent ban for vote abuse.

 

any plans to extend the event? It'll be greatly appreciated

 

My Slime counter is whack and I participated today in the last 3 slimes and the last slime I was not awarded a present on my main or my mule account. (multi)

 

Typo. I'm assuming March 5th, 2015?
