Hey all, I was wondering what is the bare minimum HP wash as a BM or NL for some of the "lower" bosses like zak, krexel, etc. I'm a pretty casual player, and the thought of HP washing with hundreds of AP resets seems pretty daunting. I don't plan on doing horntail or other end game bosses. Is it worth making a ranged character? Currently have a priest and dragon knight that I've been playing on. Thanks!
Here you go: https://royals.ms/forum/threads/common-big-bosses-info-how-much-hp-to-tank.129971/ Different characters have different perks. It is always worth a try, especially if you make your Priest into Bishop and can self leech. EDIT: Not trying to promote leech for levelling, but it does save time
Party leveling is A LOT faster than leeching with current EXP party buff system. They buffed it last patch along with Ruel's HP quest @DrakeTears I made an MM Dec1st. 1 month in, im lvl 145 8500 hp (boss equips no HB) No leech, 4 base INT. With HB, I can do every boss within my level. Eventually, Toad and Auf will be a problem. But with Daily HP quest I can do those soon. May take a few months without HB, but you can use a mule or make Dk friends. Im typing up a 2022 new player guide since the new buffs make it so much better for new players. Trying hard to finish it asap.
I second this though, 6 in a party gives you like 50% bonus exp and the map clears fast. However, I think some people prefer leech because they have low primary stat and 200++ int stat. Also not many maps can accommodate 6 players hitting. Only ever tried in ToT where its huge with decent spawn.
Its 10% bonus exp per person, During Christmas Event it is 15%. So 6 x 15%! and LHC Party Bonus is slightly different than open-world EXP, HS still benefits the open world. Maps great for 6-man Party = (level Depending), Primitive Boars, Most the Ludi Dungeon Maps, Nintos, ToT, 2 NeoTokyo maps, Sharks/Squids @ Aqua, Most of FTP, the list goes on. just about every level range has a dope party map. Sorry got off the topic of OP. But yea it's sad everyone is still HP washing. After the last patch, it's much more fun to party grind with friends and gain HP from quests. to each their own, maybe more people will learn the old way of leveling in Maplestory?
Gotcha thank you all for the input!! I took a hiatus from royals and didn’t realize how prevalent up washing was
